The Game Runs Slow On Computer

Hi everyone, I have a:
Pentium 4 Intel
3.0 - ghz
512 mb ram memory
and 9200 ATI radeon

isnt this enough for PES4 to run smoothly on my computer???

I have the same problem as we all had in PES3 the game was like a replay..it was slow but some speed-up patch came out and fixed the game...

i am playing on LOWEST graphics and still the game is kind of slow..i press the button for dribbling and the player does it like 2 secs after...

does anyone know why...or is anyone else having same problem as i do?

tnx all

well, if u have a cheap power supply, that might be it.. as cheap power supplies can cause all sorts of stupid errors and faults on computers. But it will be your vid card.. it is old.. and get atleast a 9600 Pro or XT or a ti4200 (if you can still buy em)

choices for a graphics card to run PES4 properly

here is a list of the best value of money Graphics cards to get but all prices are in Australian dollars sorry but i live in australia, but it might still help on your graphics card choice. personaly i would choose a nvidia coz they have a shader model 3 version and the ATI's only have shader model 2. so it would be handy to get for the future and the future games like PES5 (maybe) might be able to get a shader model 3 patch to make the graphics better. the nvidia's are so cheap right now, but the ATI's are still a good choice but not in performance comparing to the nvidia's, the 6600GT are keeping up with the 6800 vanilla's now, so that would be a good choice, but if your looking to spend only a bit of money then choosing a low end card will prob make only up to 5% difference for the game, but i got a 6600GT and the game runs brilliantly on a high resolution. i also suggest that you get a fairly new card coz they have DDR3 so you can run games on a high resolution without slowing down heavily, but here is the list of good choices of graphics cards to get, but remember dont get anything which has the following words on teh box ,LE (Light edition) and SE (Second Editon). these cards will do nothing to improve the game because they are cracked up cards which half of the core does not work, and sold for a cheaper price. so take this advice, it's all that you'll need to get the perfect card for the perfect price.

$200-$300
Radeon 9600XT about $250, Radeon 9600Pro $200
$300-$400
GeForce 6600GT 128MB about $330, Radeon 9800PRO 128MB 256Bit Ver. $350
$400-$500
GeForce 6800 Vanilla 128mb (this can be found at about $500 australian dollars, but requires a 350W PSU), Gainward GeForce 6600GT Golden Sample (Overclocked edition) for aboiut $420
$600+
Ge-Force 6800 GT 256MB about $680,

Hope this helps everyone because that's all i know.

i ve the same problem with AMD 1.8, 512 MB DDR RAM, NVIDIA GEFORCE 5200 VMAGIC 128 MB card... the game's speed drops down when i switch to HIGH quality in each resolution...this doesnt happen with FIFA 05 though!

9600 is a good and cheap option, the 5200 will defiently struggle on the game, i have experienced this becasue i owned such a crap card (5200) then i considered upgrading to a 6600GT, then that did the job easily, turn on all the high quality details and the game runs smoooth,.

I have a 9700 mobility radeon 64mb. About half the time the game runs slow, and half the time it is ok. I have to play at the club house or an empty stadium to have a chance of a successful game.

Any tips?

I guess you could either upgrade the graphics card or keep playing on those settings.
