The get scripted matches out of pes petition

Ever had those games where even basic passes wont get through? The AI team is playing like Brazil 1970? Your team seems suspiciously slow and you opponent is suspiciously quick? And you keep missing the easiest of chances?

If you have these symptoms in a game you have a scripted match. And no matter what you do, you cannot win. You WILL lose. Long-time PES players can spot a scripted match a mile off, and the best you can do is try to keep the score down.

Well, I for one have had enough of scripted games in PES. Konami, its time for you to actually program the game properly, not cheat and take short cuts.

Anyone else agree? If so, put a comment in here so we can force scripting out of the game once and for all.

As annoying as it is I think with a bit more moderation the scripting kind of makes it interesting.

Don't get me wrong, I had a match last night where I put an unrealistic amounts of crosses in and Crouch missed (I mean balooned) every single one either over or wide and yet the following match I put three in and got three goals.

I felt that the computer had decided I wouldn't get a headed goal in the first game and made it impossible for me to score one yet in the second game he couldn't miss.

If this was moderated slightly to reflect a more realistic ''off day'', maybe with the keeper playing a bigger part by saving everything thrown at him instead of just a point blank refusal to allow a header to go anywhere near, it would be better.

By the way Crouch had a green arrow on both games.

But if this was removed totally then wouldn't the better players be guarranteed victory every game?

Not necessarily, I've been playing PES for years and I still lose non-scripted games from time to time. Its just annoying getting towards the last 5 games of the league and you KNOW for sure there will be a scripted game in there somewhere. Scripting is just a cheat by the programmers to get round programming a stronger AI.

The other problem is I can now tell when a match is scripted. And you think what's the point playing a game when you know you can't win. Some scripting might be necessary, but the way it is now is so blatant and ridiculously obvious, Konami are just taking the piss now. It's pathetic.

PULL YOUR FINGER OUT AND MAKE A PROPER GAME. YOU WERE SAT AT THE TOP OF THE TREE FOR MOST OF THE 90S AND YOU BARELY IMPROVED PES FOR 6 GAMES AND NOW YOU ARE PAYING THE PRICE. I HAVE BEEN PLAYING PES SINCE PES 1, AND THE ONLY THING STOPPING ME FROM MOVING TO FIFA IS THAT THE CAREER MODE IS ONLY 15 SEASONS LONG. I HOPE SHINGO SEABASS GETS PILES AS THIS MIGHT BE THE ONLY THING THAT GETS HIM OFF HIS LAZY ASS.

Needs to be toned down a bit, some irritating balancing acts to help the AI have been included this year.

8 out of my last 10 matches were scripted. I don't know if its because most of my team is only at around the 75-80 mark and realisticly I shouldn't be winning competitions or if this is standard but its pushing me closer and closer to getting rid of this shyte game.

I beat Man City and then the next week I get pummelled 4-1 by Dinamo Bucuresti?? The players can't tackle, passing is weak, any passes received in or around the goal area result in them just kicking it out with their first touch, huuuge gaps are left everywhere, defenders kick the ball out giving away corners just for the hell of it, and then don't try to head to ball out.

In my last match an off-side was called and I couldn't believe how blatant it was. The line was drawn from the defenders outside foot. Had it been drawn from the inside foot then my player would have been clearly onside (the defender really had his legs spread wide). Later in the same match my player was called offside from a pass made by the opposition.

This is getting stupid.

Agreed, the scripting this years is as bad as its ever been. Unacceptable. People know there are scripted games now, and a lot of long-time gamers can spot them. So Konami may as well not bother with them any-more, as they just annoy with no real benefit.
