Haha well played, My last game last night. I played a guy who was not willing to play football. Just kick the hell out of my players. I end up winning 3-0, a hat trick of Penalties from Eto'o. I kept running in the box, dummy shooting and he fell for it each time. He would slide in from the side and catch me late he needed to learn to use pressure buttons.

Guys, how do you have your formation field screen in bigger size? Mine's so small I can barely see player's overall and physical condition arrow.. :realmad:

the problems i have is i cant really choose the player who is closest to the ball.
And when i try to pass my own players always block the pass somehow.

btw, is there a way not keep shooting on the bar?

just played this guy in d2 called Asdd83, scored on me in the first 10 mins from a corner, i score 1 back and totally dominated him, then my rb gets one of the harshest red card i've ever seen. but i still managed to score one, but then again he scores right off kick off, then i scored another one at the 80th minute mark, the game finishes 3:2, i had 15 shots versus his 6. He sends me a message calling ME lucky and defensive lol, funny guy

are you kidding me he said you are defensive??
i put 5 defender or 2 dmf when i played against you

Finding a lot of people are going for the defensive approach, I play 4-3-3 with wingers and don't concede much. Notice in D3 majority seem to go 4-5-1!

Am I missing a trick with this?

Also how much do people think the special ability things make a difference to a players performance? I signed Elia who'd got stacks of 'em and he was a shower!Lodeiro is twice the player at half the price and has hardly any special things!!

i always have this problem too, probably has something to do with support range, i set mine to something like 6, so maybe if its something like 10 or more then you won't have this problem?

if you're talking about those roulette or flicking skill cards, i'd say they're pretty useless, gourcuff is probably the master of roulette in real life, but in this game he fails probably 50% of the time under no pressure what so ever despite having the roulette card

4-5-1 is not that defensive because it can gain a lot of possession. it only depends on how people play their game

i agree, i often see people playing something like a 4-2-4, looks like a super offensive formation, but most of the time its just the 4 attacking because the 2 in the midfield are dragged all the way back in front of the defence line. so yea, it really depends how you play the formation.

just lost my first match in a while(not including coach mode), not surprisingly to a lamer with a 5-1-4 formation, agbonlahor martins pato and wright philips on red arrow, it was like playing need for speed lol

In the middle of my worst run ever atm! Been playin lissandro n owen up top who cant buy a goal but think its the midfield lettin me down!

Thinkin from comments 451 could be the answer?! Got mutu juan mata n guediera in there all good but need a midfield boss! Like the look of fellaini? How are people settin up their 5 man mids to get the job done?

Desperate times all round!!

Will make chances from the sides and the middle. And Owen is more of a box player then the other.

Sounds like a good plan! Need to get Lissandro in the team tho the lad cost me a fortune!

Could trade in Owen and pick up some midfielders. Rate Owen tho good little finisher!

Karagounis has good stats for the price anyone picked him up??

Its really doing my head in when a D5 team has: Kaka, Benzema, C.Crynaldo and loads of others.

By the way any good idea for a "strong holding" CF?

Julio Baptiste is good for strength, great for knocking the ball up to on free kicks and getting it on the deck!

Dribbling isn't great though and didn't score much so I moved him on! Think all the strikers who aren't over 6 mill have their weaknesses Owen seems the most consistent for me but signed Lissandro yesterday so see how he goes!
