My formation is 4312, should I go 4222 with vieria and cabaye in the middle, and the hazaard and pastore on the wings?

y not! try it out see if u like it. its fun to swing the ball around in midfield and get 1v1s with your winger to take on the sbs

I've got about 2mil in the bank - I want a good defensive player for my bench who can play dmf, sb and cb. Preferably one that doesn't drop too much in overall ability when changing to the various positions - any suggestions?

Go onto settings on MLO and then match online settings or something similar and you can set skill level similar to yours, it doesn't mean you'll get noobs though

i'd say heitinga is a good option, for less money: nigel de jong or demy de zeeuw, statistically not top class but very usefull, if you need a left footed player try van der heijden or van bronckhorst

After a torrid session yesterday I'm thinking about reshuffling completely...

np. Good luck with your squad, forgot to mention that verthongen would be a good option if you look for a left footed cb/sb/dmf, i never used him in mlo though so didnt think about him immediately
