520 in d1. looking to survive relegation. being a lot more patient this time. my defense and possession is def winning my games.

i always tried to play possession, and normally i do end up with around 58-62% possession each game...thing is though, when i'm playing those 4-3-3 teams i get punished almost every single time i lose the ball, tips?

Im guessing your playing four at the backs? And when you loose the ball your sb's are way up high and the only ones left to defend with are the two cb's? Thats what happend to me at least.
Since most players play 3 up front you need at least 3 defenders left when you lose the ball of your attack. IMO sb's are important for possession games so you dont really wanna take them away. So what you can do is either add a deep laying dmc or add 3 cb's and two wingbacks. This way you will always have 3 left to defend with when the opponent comes for the counter. Or if you dont feel like you need the sb's so bad you can go with 4 cb's and have good advantage when the opp comes for the counter...

defensively u have to figure out how your opponent is playing and start reading smartly. most 4-3-3 go straight to the forward and pass to the wing and look for the cutback, so u patiently have to read that and stop it. i usually dont even try and stop their passes in the midfield, i just race back to my position and then stop the wing play but u will get chances where they make boneheaded moves and u have a counter yourself.
For the others the play those quick 1-2s six times in succession just patiently sit back and not give up your position and let them make a stupid pass for you to intercept.
So fed up of this... winning for 85 minutes and then he gets a shot, bounces orr my keepers head, shoots again, hits crossbar, shoots again and then it goes in... just my luck, every time it happens, every game
OH and why does everyone elses Ivarov seem AMAZING compared to the one I had.. mine would literally move out of the way for a shot to go in rather than saving it, but on everyone elses, he will break his neck to save a shot

skrtel is the man u want as a towering defender, good at man marking and set pieces (both offense and defense)
luiz is a little better than average in the game

hilarious beating the big teams. although i m loosing a lot more, the pleasure i m having playing with this team so far is immense. my forward sux but him combining with dempsey and getting crosses from duda makes him pretty good at 63. vladamir weiss is soo underrated in this game. bringing valdez off the bench is clutch.
next target: huntelaar and insua

nice project! I am also playing with ajax, and try to have the 'old' ajax players, currently have a team with players like vd sar, heitinga, chivu, maxwell, seedorf, vd vaart, sneijder, de jong, babel, ibrahimovic, de ridder, huntelaar... Man if they would still be playing in amsterdam....

ok changed my team to BLUE MOON RISING. beating tons of superstar teams but still getting cheated on like anything. 4-2-2-2. playing a little more direct and my crossing and defense has gone to another level

actually I also want to share my formation and would appreciate some suggestions!
I like to play with the copenhagen dress, because it is clean and without a sponsor and I've not seen anyone else using it yet.
Unfortunately I don't own any of the Players of copenhagen, because they are rated too low.
I changed my formation a lot recently and do not really know which to stick to. At the moment Özil and Pato play very nice togehter and the Defence works good too. While attacking I would whish for more forward runs from my strikers, they kind of wait for the pass instead of running forward... Grafite has only played 1 game, I just bought him today. Next things would be to make the defense better.
I tried a 4-3-3 but it was very leaky in the defense somehow.
So where could I improve? Which formation could suit my team? And any tips on the team configuration(defense line, attack style,...)?

I haven't got any Players on the Benchmark besides of the 20-25 guys..
I placed them on the Wings because Özil gets 81 and Modric 78.
In ther shown OMF Position they get 1 or 2 Points less.
I'll Test if it Makes Sense to Play with 2 strikers, 2 offensive midfielders instead of Side midfielders and maniche As defensive while ederson in Central midfield.
