The new "revolutionary" nintendo controller

How does it show Nintendo is for kids? It is very apple in it's design...is an ipod for kids?

Oh, and you're still a kid yourself(well, a Tween-i know, you're 18 soon...wooh...) so shut it.

Won't be surprised if they scrap that design after it flops. Hands up who thinks they've got a standard looking controller ready as backup???

They have announced they are making a standard controller so that 3rd party ports, of games that don't take advantage of the new innovations, can be easily played on revolution.

Also, I can't imagine how it will work, but when the games are shown next month, I think we will all have a better image of things to come. I'm especially looking forward to the FPS games, as playing them on the revolution will give them the best conrol system of any FPS console game(use the analogue stick attachment to walk forward , back, strafe left, strafe right; and use the 'freehand' to look/aim in realtime)..can't wait!

There are so many retards on this site.

Anyway, I think the pad'll be great for FPS and Nintendo will use it to full effect on games like Mario and Zelda.

I can't believe that will be the new revolutionary controller! It just looks like a remote control for your television, strange................

I always thought Nintendo had the best controllers, both the N64 and Gamecube controllers are perfectly designed. Remember the N64 controller was the first to have an Analogue Stick, a vibration function and a trigger on the underside of the contoller. All thse features are pretty much standard on modern consoles.

But this new design looks a bit like style over substance to me, maybe Nintenso would be best just going the way of Sega, and quit hardware production to concentrate on making great games for other consoles.

Yeah, N64 controller was great, apart from the fact the L button was out of reach, there was no use what so ever for the D-Pad and the C buttons were to the worst things I've ever seen. Fantastic controller. GameCube controller is actually great though.

And I don't know I haven't used one, but I reckon it'd be more natural playing games with that controller, because you use a TV remote a lot, so it's just like using a TV remote.
