The Nintendo DS Thread

I bought a Nintendo DS yesterday and i'm very pleased that I choose this over the PSP, ok the games are sheek and retro but with updated graphics they bring hours of entertainment, but also the new games are arriving, FIFA 2006 is brillient, the graphics and gamplay is awsome. Soon hopefully the rumours will become fact and PES will be on DS, that will be class.

I got one back in May, its a good little console. :)
I reccommend "WarioWare, Touched!". It's just a good lil' game where you have to use the pen on the touch screen a lot.

Yeah I havn't got a game that requiers the pen alot. Looking at Ninten Dogs or somthing like that. I've got Super Mario Kart, FIFA 2006 and Tiger Woods 2006.

Pro Evo, i've heard speculation but no solid evidence that its coming, if it does, i'll have it before it hits the shelf, maybe they could use the twin screen thing for better effects, like, you play on the top and on the bottom theres different angles like on TV that shows up close, like player cam.

Just seen Fifa Street 2, screenshots for DS it looks cool, 3D but with good graphics(for that console, of course)...

I've had my DS since launch day.

You all need Mario Kart. That's the one truly great DS title so far.

Online, and utterly fantastic.

What!:eek:hmy:

I got mine on launch day and I was pretty impressed with its innovation. All it needs now is some killer titles.
I've got Mario Kart DS and Super Mario DS.

What are you "What!:eek:hmy:" at?

Just got Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, graphics are good but its hard to master, you control the view with the touch screen and his movement with the d-pad.

At your Fifa is amazing crap.

I can't seem to be able to enjoy any football game other then it being on a next gen console. It just feels to ropey.

Feel free to get Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, it's amazing, I own that along with Mario Kart DS and Super Mario 64. Yeah Phoenix Wright, it's coming out over here in March or something, but I couldn't wait and got it off eBay from Japan, don't worry it's in english. You're a lawyer and have to defend people in court, it's legendary.

@ LeonS, untill PES comes out for DS I will continue to bum FIFA on DS, it's still football and thats what I love.

@ ps2gtavc, Mario Kart rulez, just completed all of the CC classes and started the mirror versions now.

@ LeonS, I think you need wireless broadband to go online, but local wireless play is great.
