The overhead flick needs to be patched out of the game

to be honest i'm not a big fan of the new controls, putting move to the right stick because i was so used to using my stepovers with the R2 and L1 buttons..

The rainbow flick gets abused online its so ridiculous.

I think konami just implemented in the game to copy fifa and for visuals. It's a trick that is never really used in the game(real life) at the top level.

I've created a thread about the Rainbow flick, you should check it out. Loads of pissed off players getting cheated out of points.

I've not come up against an abuser of the flick, so maybe I don't know how frustrating it can be. But I have seen people use it a bit, never really found it too much of a problem. I know that if they do use it, they pass the "instant dickhead test".

I don't think I've see the rainbow flick in any game at the professional level in probably the last 10 yaers! lol its really stupid that Konami put it into the game, and at that that they made it so darn easy to do. If you're going to put it in, make it hard so it doesn't get abused.

I remember a Turkish player doing a really good one in the 2002 WC too. His name escapes me though.

ya I know, I was being sarcastic but in PES2011 everyone could do it and do it repeatedly down the field. Ruins the game when you get one of those online cheesers doing it !

I say "NO" to removement as I use it sometimes. Anyway, they should prevent it from spamming by disabling the ability to do it several times in a row.

"Online cheeser". Now THERE is a great phrase if ever I've seen one. I think we could use it to describe stupid formation users, and one-two abusers - as mentioned on my recent thread which you've have already commented on.

Found out the name of that Turkish player - it was Ilhan Mansiz. According to wikipedia he has taken up figure skating and wants to represent Turkey at the 2014 winter olympics!

Id go further and say remove the whole link feints crap... previously to be a trickster in PES took real skill (which I didnt possess) it required complex button pressing while still controlling the ball and as a result deserved to be quite effective.

Now any brainless fool can run the length of the pitch doing perfect stepovers feints and flicks just by flicking the right stick once or twice... its lame in the extreme and just cheapens PES imo
