THE Perfect Rainbow Shot / Volley ~~ *Must See*

I just scored this whilst playing with a mate the other night. Spain VS Portugal, Albelda (who?) thrashes this one in with perfect power with a perfectly timed sweet shot strike just as before the ball bounces direct from long range corner. If you’ve ever done the practice thing in training where you have to let go of shoot just as the ball is about to land, this is a good example of it being pulled off in a match. And in off the bar aswell, I couldn’t believe my luck.

Enjoy.

And PS. My MaxDrive hasn't arrived yet so it's still captured from a digital camera, but it's only 3-4 megs big and viewable. So please no comments about video quality. Thanks.

Nice drive shot mate, timed to absolute perfection.
Sweet, sweet goal!!! :w00t

Although the acute angle drive shot volleys looping to the back post over the keeper look so much better and are a lot harder to perform.

Cheers. i know what you mean about those ones that loop over the goalie and nestle in the back corner. I had one like it recently with Totti:

It's one like you were describing, but it doesn't have the rainbow effect on the ball, plus the video quality is somehow worse. I ripped it out of my last compilation, so if you liked the original one and this one then maybe you should check out the compliation, has alot of goals like this in it. *plug over*

Cheers for the comments everyone, it's good to know the effort of messing around with a digital camera was almost worth it.

Yeah I know what you mean. I used to record my goals with a camera too, but then I got a DVD recorder and it's much more easier to do and you get better quality replays ;)

Cheers. and no, not just because of the effect. It does actually make a massive arch as it travels over the area and into the crossbar. i put the ball effect on because i thought it would look pretty good with it on. It helps show the flight of the ball, it helps seeing the ball more than anything.

Thanks again for nice comments though, thought i was gonna get slated for putting that 'must see' thing on the title.

cheers.

I've never heard of him before. In the game they call him Albelda for some reason, probably the whole licensing issue. I'm considering buying him in my ML if he's any good, i feel lucky omens coming from him now. :)

cheers.

yeh there's no doubt there was a lot of luck to how it fell to him. but i pride myself in that i knew when to let go of shoot to get the desired result. if you try that rainbow shot minigame in training you'll get what i mean.

Great Strike, I think the effects made it better. I havent used that effect since like Pro Evo 3. I might have to bring it back.
