Here's the perfect team: formation + suited players
Sit back and enjoy :D

FORMATION where it's all about: 4-3-3 B
1 goalie, 4 defenders on a line, 2 defensive midfielders, 1 offensive midfielder, 1 target man and 2 wingers.

The 4 defenders have a backward attacking attitude, they don't take part in the attacks. So they can't be surprised by counter attacks. The 2 side-backs have a backward attacking attitude as well, but they have an oblique narrow, so they assist the 2 centre-backs when they are in minority against a number of attackers. One defensive midfielder also has a backward attacking attitude. He doesn't take part in the attacks as well. He's is the first defender I would say. He has to 'steal' lots of balls, bring the attackers from the opposite team into serieus troubles. The other 'defensive' midfielder has a normal attacking attitude. His task is to help the other defensive midfielder, and to help building up the attacks. The offensive midfielder (normal attacking attitude) has a free role. His role is crucial, because he's the connection between defence and attack. He's is the regulator of your team and has to claim the ball. The target man has a forward attacking attitude, so he can play very deep, and put the defenders under big pressure. Then you have the 2 wingers(normal attacking attitude). They have to take care of the supply to the target man :D.

SUITED PLAYERS for this 'system':
GK: Every decent goalie will do the job ---> from Kiraly to Buffon
CB: Has to be good at headers, and not to slow ---> from VanBuyten to Nesta
SB: Has to have a certain pace, so not to slow ---> from Placente, to Roberto Carlos on the left, and from Emerton to Thuram on the right
DM,with backward attacking attitude: Has to be agressive, good at defending, and has to have a good stamina ---> from Toefting to Davids
DM,with normal attacking attitude: Has to be good at defending ànd attacking, has to have a good stamina, and a great passing ---> from Keane to Ballack
OM: Has to be creative, has to have a good vieuw on the game, a great technique, a good passing and a great shot ---> Plenty of choice: from Balakov to Rivaldo, Totti, Zidane, Recoba,...
CF: Has to be tall and strong, a great header, a finisher ---> from Flo to Koller, Vieri,... 3 words: a lethal weapon! :D
WG: Has to be speedy, and great at dribbling ---> from LaurentRobert to Giggs on the left, and from Dyer to Figo on the right

Playing like this, success garanteed :D

Just give it a try, and feel free to let me know what you think about it!

It's possible that he sucks, haven't played with him a lot, only once maybe. I 'selected' him on his height, ... When mentioning the exemples, I took a regular player first, and then the world-class palyers. You see...
But I agree, Flo isn't all that. To stay with the Norvegians, go for Carew :D

I would agree. Henry and Shev would be much better wingers up front. Their shooting would be far superior and they would be useful for their pace and passing.

the best formation IS 3-5-2 however you modify it. why have four at the back when it means you sacrifice attacking options? pes2 is all about attack, 3 at the back saves wage money,(four cb's and four full backs on your books will set you back a lot more than 6 cb's) also playing 3-5-2 you can utilise the quality full backs by using them as wing backs, think roberto carlos, sagnol etc. 5 in midfield gives you a lot of options. you can play two defensive mid's with one attacking, two attacking one defensive, etc. my formula is to sit a dmf player in front of the back three, a cmf player left of centre around the half way line and an amf "in the hole". this works superbly as you can dominate games with solid possesion in the midfield and with the aformentioned vesatility you can adjust your lineup to suit your opponents, e.g when playing against man utd its not a good idea to put a player with low strength in amf as roy keane will chew him up and spit him out. as equally as when you are playing a south american team you want to concentrate on technichal ability and skill.

I usually played 4-3-3B, and for me this WAS the best formation. But a while ago, I started using the 3-5-2 formation, with 2 OMF's. It works good. Balanced formation, gives you the opportunity to attack, and control the midfield. I know one thing, this is definitely the best formation :D
