For me its usually Wayne Routledge, mainly because after a few seasons he becomes so fast that its almost impossible to catch up to him on the wings.

Maradona gives me problems too. Almost all of his stats are 96+! He's with Liverpool in my ML and I played against him 5 times in one season and he's scored in 3 of those games.

I dont play WE10 a lot now days but if there was one player it would have to be Jaap Stam. He is as solid as a rock, very hard to get pass him with anyone

For years on the old PS1 games and even the first few PS2 version of Pro Evo, it was Nuno Gomes. I swear he would dive in the area, get penalties, or just score from open play. Even foul players on a corner, the score and the goal count.
Claudio Lopez was close to being the first player to get 30 goals for me on Pro, and with 5 games to go Pancaro injured him, leaving him stuck on 29 for the rest of the season (He went on to get 50 next season! good times)
This time around, there has not been one player who has constantly been a pain. There are occasional good performances from a Puyol, or a unknown CB, bu then the next time i play them, i tend to exploit them.

Bloody Baros - plays alone upfront for Liverpool, I'll dominate but at some point he'll get on the end of a through ball, wriggle free and score - git.

Next minute he's on the end of a corner heading it in - he really shits me up and now I've got no confidence playing against Liverpool.

Can't wait for him to retire!

hmmmm there are always good performances from the top players especially the classice players. maradonna (near impossible to foul him never mind get the ball off him) pele (always seems to find a way to casually stick the ball in the back off the net). But two current players that stand out are Arjen Robben and Gianluigi Buffon. Robben destroyed me when i played chelsea in the WEFA Championship i managed to hold on to 1-1 away in the first game with Robben scoring for them however he showed no mercy in the return leg n put away 2 before winning a penalty that crespo tucked away to beat me 3-2. As for Buffon, He simply saves everything... end of story lol
