The psm3 review is a joke!!!

Come on peeps this review cannot be taken seriously whatsoever!!! In fact I feel sick because of this pathetic article.

It is perhaps the worst and most biased piece of journalism I have ever seen! I was looking forward to some reviews but this is a joke.

These reviewers are simple Fifa haters who have PES tinted glasses on. This review offers us no real insight into the game whatsover and the fact that PES just about won has me worried.

How can things like the online etc be a draw!? EA wins this hands down!

Most sane people on Evo web worked that out in 2 seconds, and the review was hardly spoken of after that.

Even WENB said it was in accurate on their podcast and that PSM3 admitted they will always favour PES.

Can you not see the issue with a magazine saying FIFA and PES are equal in terms of licensing and online?

Are you telling me PES is equal with FIFA in the licensing dept?

Are you also telling me PES, which to date can barley produce a lag free game of online soccer, is equal to FIFA in the online gaming dept? do you even know fifa's online options for this year?

Leave the pes fifa talk for those with a basic grasp of common sense.

Fifa has more licenses BUT THE 2 MAJOR LICENSES ARE AT KONAMI. No matter what license you get, it can never compare to the uefa licenses.
I say a draw is fair enough. The uefa licenses are really major you know.
As for the review.
It's an opinion. Why take it seriously? FIFA FANBOYS don't accept it THAT'S WHY.
An opinion is an opinion.
As for online:
did you play it?
NO.
So do not say fifa's online is better (in 2010 ofcourse).
Play both and then compare.

The other game which has spain, italy, england, germany, france, holland, even russian and many more licensed leagues.

Oh and there are many of them licensed. But as for europa league I do not know yet. But there are licensed ones. More than unlicensed for sure.

I have to agree with Tech about the licenses.

It is good for Konami to have the Champions League and Europa League licenses but in my opinion it doesn't make up for the amount of unlicensed teams in the game. At least Game Graphic Studio and the Edit Mode will overcome that issue :w00t

As for online, I can't disagree with PSM3 until the game comes out. Based on PES2009 and FIFA09 then FIFA wins hands down no doubt about it, but PES2010 and FIFA10 are not released yet so I will take PSM3's word for it for the time being. Of course, recent history makes us wary.

Liked the way they put Graphics and Animations in the same box, very sly that one... :blush:

Yeah the guys who did that review are plonkers and cant be trusted. Thats what I am annoyed about. I reckon PES 2010 will be a good game but I want reviews to say as much so I know what I am buying.

The reason why PES has so many editing features is the fact that it doesnt have the licensing that fifa has and therefore Fifa doesnt need a great editing feature in the game!!!

fifa doesn't need it because the teams are already licensed. You get the game, and you're ready to go. No need to spend half the year trying to fix the fake player names or teams and wait for a new option file.

I do not know what the fuss is all about. PSM3 clearly stated in their conclusion that their article is biased as they said they will always prefer PES to Fifa. It was written from a PES fan perspective so I can't comprehend why you are so annoyed when it was expected. And anyway the comparison is of Fifa at finish compared to PES's 80 percent code. In regards to online nobody can tell until both games are released so you cannot conclude that Fifa wins that section.

^ Licensing should've been divided into categories.
One for teams
and one for competitions.
They're both licenses afterall.
For me, the champions league and europa league are really major ones. Oh and I do not care if I play with fake chelsea or arsenal. Edit mode fixes it.
But I got your point.

fifa doesn't need it because the teams are already licensed. You get the game, and you're ready to go. No need to spend half the year trying to fix the fake player names or teams and wait for a new option file.

But in fifa there's no photo uploads of faces. And some kits weren't licensed for serie A neither.

nah, the uefa license is meaningless, sure its nice to have and looks pretty but its meaningless. how can you say pes has the two biggest licenses, the premier league would generally be considered the biggest license, not some competition you could easily make up in a create a tournament mode or the konami cup. sure its nice not to have to do that but after 1 play through most people prolly wont even give the champions league another look. also my guess is FIFA will be better online, it has been since the switch to the new gen consoles, more modes and so much less lag. although konami look to have bulked up online this year so it might be close i dont know.

PES wins on free flowing game play, pick up and play, multiplayer with friends who are actually in the room with you and editing. oh and the ML is a bit better than FIFAs manager mode.

i am shocked you consider PES to have the 2 best licenses which equates to very little.
