Muz333: Face Scans - In principle I've no problem with doing more face-scans but only if the original pic is useable, there's nothing worse than players with weird looking faces. If there's any particular player you'd like done then supply a decent pic or do it yourself and I'll import it into the game.
Chants, stadiums, league names, league logos - this would require 'patching' the game in some way and I just want to provide an OF that is easy to install for anyone (although not always that easy thanks to Konami's updates and conflicting version data...)
BaL - can't do anything about that, it's just the way it is but it's bloody annoying as I'd like to join the Hibs!
Blank faces - Motrekab answered that. But for anyone else, if you're using 1.0/base file and you have some grey/blank faces, try pressing 'default' when in edit mode for the player in question.
Jfist: Thanks. As I said before I'm planning to change all Classic Teams to Under 21 but in the meantime I'll aim to give real names to remaining Classic Team players.
Cheers to everyone for the comments and feel free to critique/make suggestions or just say thanks.
Cheers ol' buddy ol' pal. I was going to point out that the Darren Smith at Airdrie was the same as the one at Raith but you've sorted it out so I won't. Not to mention the Darren Smith at Motherwell but he was fine so I won't mention him either.
Are you going to be doing 10/11 kits?
Keep the faith!
mmmmmmm.. because i need to use the patch 1.02 (exe ??) when exist 1.03 ??Hi to you too, welcome!
Have you applied the Konami patch? Here is a link: http://www.filefront.com/15284425/PES2010Patch102.exe/
Once you have done that (or if you have already done that) then try removing the 'save' folder (My Documents > Konami > Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 - make sure you 'back up' your own saves) then replace with Tornado's 'save' folder. Start the game, go to 'System Settings' > 'Downloads' and see if you can download any new content. If you can and it asks you to overwrite data make sure that you don't (choose 'no'). If you look around the teams they will be Man Blue, etc. Close the game and restart. You should find that the file is properly updated. I had the same problem as you and this worked for me so hopefully you too.
The OF definitely has the correct team names (Manchester City, Wigan, etc.). I don't know why you're not getting these. Just a thought, have you tried going into 'Edit' and manually loading the OF there?
Oh yes...... but you are sure the 2.5 version contain the real name ??
I have try to open it with an EDITOR and i found the same wrong name of team but the all logos and all player it's correctly.
I have already try to load this file from the modify section of the games but the name of team remain wrong.
I can post a screenshot of editor.. look:
*EDIT*
I have found a possibly cause of my problems in the editor!!
My Games it's in ITALIAN....... and watch here on Team Names:
If i use the Italian Language on the games the names of team remain wrong...............
I thinks here all of you use the games in english true ??
How i can modify all team names ?? In all language ??
*EDIT 2nd Part*
I have fixed some names in italian...... but i can't change some name.. i save but nothing appends.
I think it's a bug of editor.....
But I haven't got any problem when I used 2.5 OF.....

"Use the editor to open this PES2010_EDIT.BIN and select the language on OF in "Italian", restart the editor and look:
Now the names of all team has been corrected"
I see what you mean now and good to see you got to the bottom of it. Maybe Tornado will edit the created teams in Italian too for next time so you won't have to. I suppose it's obvious that he would only have edited those teams in English but I must admit I had never considered it before.
Ok
It's no problems.. i think Tornado has forgotten to check the option to make for all language the names of team.
It's no a very problems.. i have created a my version upper it... now it's all ok
All teams i know it's now correctly edited in ITALIAN... it's can be usefull for the next version of this splendid OF (2.6 version).
I knew about the option to change all created teams in different languages but never considered that people would want a Scottish file in another language! But then there's more to it than quite a few Scottish teams so I'm glad it's got a bit more widespread appeal. In the next update I'll correct for Italian users (even if that's just you, DjDiabolik )and if it doesn't take to much time I'll do the other main European languages too. Thanks for pointing it out.
