the reason for starting this thread was that I want more teams to choose from when I'm playing my mates...

Immediately my head started thinking about classic real madrid, classic milan, classic juve and so on.... but this is not only limited to classic teams... why not create teams that are not in the game, like river plate? You can even create national sides, just make new kits. Or how about a "best of world cup 94" team... The possibilities are endless!

What I think is best is to use 2 memory cards. You start out with 2 identical optionfiles, one on each mem card. One of the option files will quickly get messed up as you transfer players between clubs, to create your teams. If you want to, you can edit your kits, emblem, logo and team name... When you have selected your team, for example real madrid and want to make a classic version, you just transfer all the players you need to the club. I think the max amount of players in one squad is 32. The players you don't need, you just dump to other clubs.

Then you start master league and set up your team formation and tactics. Then you immediately go to trophy room(or something similar) where you'll find something called "My best eleven". Select "Save my best eleven" and you have saved your team to a mem card. No you can just quit master league if you want without saving. The file you saved can now be used on any option file.

How to load your team: When you're in the team selection menu, look at the very bottom and you'll find a "ml"-icon. That's it...

Tip: After creating some teams you'll find out that it gets hard to remember where all the different players are located. Then you can just delete the messy option file, and replace it with the one you normally use.


Now start creating some teams, I'm getting impatient.

yes I will, but I suck with kits...

For quick results you should create the missing players team for team if you know what I mean. For example if I wanna create classic milan I'm missing a few players that are not in the game, such as the famous swedes and ancelotti and a few others and it would be better for all of us if you concentrated on one team so we can get that finished before you move on to the next team.

This thread is for posting teams?.. I do get it and why we should.. its just i am not certain of the process.. I have a max drive and 3 memory cards.. let me see whether i understand the process and you tell me if i am right or not..
here goes..
I get one of my unused mem cards.. copy the current option file so that i dont mess up my previous teams/players etc.. load game again with the temp mem card and go straight to editing.. register the players i want to the team i am creating.. go to start ML and select new team.. then go through editing process as usual then when ML starts go to save my best eleven and save to memory card.. you can then quit the ML and the team will be saved onto other mem card without interferring with the current setup?
If i have this wrong please tell me.. if all else i could try it.. I was thinking i could do some really good teams.. I'm shite with kits but really good with players also does the save effect created players?.. in previous pes it said Created player instead of propper name?

Reply to RedDevilPesfan: Yes, you're one of the lucky few who seems to understand it. In pes 4, you could not assign created players to clubs I think(at least not in master league) and the classic players would start at 17 years old in master league. This issue has been fixed for pes 5 so now we can create all the teams we'll ever need.(I think)

At least try it out. And if someone could try my juventus team out and tell me if it works or not, I'd be happy.
