Diego Pablo Simeone

Seu começo no futebol foi nas categorias inferiores do Vélez Sarsfield até 1987, ano que passou a formar parte do time profissional. Sua estréia na Primeira Divisão do Campeonato Argentino foi em 13 de Setembro de 1987, partida contra a Gimnasia de La Plata, com derrota do Vélez por 2 a 1. Seu primeiro gol na primeira divisão foi em 12 de Outubro de 1987, na partida Vélez Sarsfield 1 -2 Deportivo Español. Em 1989, foi para a Europa jogar na Itália, no Pisa. Permaneceu por três temporadas.

Em 1992, foi jogar no Sevilla, da Espanha. Sua estréia na Primeira Divisão da Liga Espanhola foi no dia 6 de Setembro de 1992, na partida entre Albacete 3 - 4 Sevilla. No Sevilla, ele atuou por 2 temporadas.

Em 1994, foi atual no Atlético de Madrid. Neste clube permaneceu por três anos, sendo sua melhor temporada a de 1995/1996, já que conseguiu dois títulos (Campeonato Espanhol e Copa do Rei).

Em 1997, regressou a Itália, mas esta vez para jogar em uma grande equipe italiana, a Internazionale de Milão. Com seu novo clube conseguiu o título da Copa da UEFA. Mais tarde foi atuar na Lazio, equipe que conseguiu quatro títulos: Campeonato Italiano, Copa da Itália, Supercopa da Itália e Supercopa da Europa.

Em 2003, retornou ao Atlético de Madrid, onde permaneceu duas temporadas. Simeone disputou um total de 197 partidas na Primeira Divisão da Liga Espanhola.

Jaap Stam

Jakob "Jaap" Stam (born July 17, 1972 in Kampen in the Netherlands) is a retired Dutch football player. His nicknames are amongst others De rots van Kampen (The rock from Kampen), The Bald Gladiator and The Dutch Destroyer. He was twice voted best defender in the 1999 and 2000 UEFA Champions League. Stam started his career with local amateur football club DOS Kampen. On August 15, 1992, Stam made his professional debut for FC Zwolle in a 1-1 draw against SC Heracles in the Eerste Divisie. He became a first team regular right away and moved to Eredivisie side Cambuur Leeuwarden for the following season, but relegated in his first season which brought him back into the Eerste Divisie. Two seasons at Cambuur earned him a transfer to Eredivisie side Willem II. At Willem II he impressed at the Eredivisie level straight away, which meant his final breakthrough. A shock 1-0 home victory over Ajax led to Stam's transfer to PSV Eindhoven in the same season in which they eventually won the KNVB Cup, his first professional trophy.Stam joined AC Milan after Euro 2004. On January 30, 2006, it was announced that he would return to the Eredivisie and play for Ajax, where he signed a two-year contract. This came as a surprise to many, as it was expected he would return to either his former club PSV Eindhoven, or SC Heerenveen.

Alessandro COSTACURTA
Alessandro Costacurta (born April 24, 1966 in Orago, Varese) is an Italian former professional football defender. Especially known for his defensive role alongside Paolo Maldini, he has played for AC Milan from 1987 to 2007, with a brief period spent in AC Monza. Since the 2007-08 season he is Carlo Ancelotti's assistant at AC Milan along with Mauro Tassotti. Costacurta won the Scudetto seven times with Milan, and the European Cup/Champions League five times (1989, 1990, 1994, 2003, 2007). He was set to retire from Milan at the end of the 2005-06 season, but later signed a one-year extension at the age of 40. He became the oldest footballer ever to play in the Champions League, in Milan's 1-0 loss to AEK Athens on November 21, 2006, at 40 years and 211 days, topping the previous record held by Belgian goalkeeper Dany Verlinden at 40 years and 116 days. On May 7, 2007, at age 41, he announced his retirement, effective at the end of the 06-07 season. He will, however, remain with the club, as a second assistant to coach Carlo Ancelotti. He made his final home start in Milan's 3-2 loss to Udinese on May 19, 2007, converting a penalty that marked his first Serie A goal since the 1991-92 season, and left the pitch near the end of the match to a standing ovation. After the match ended, his teammates entered the pitch wearing a replica of his jersey as a tribute.

Description: De son surnom le « Capitaine courage ». Aîné de Victor et cadet de Georges, arrière droit et capitaine de l'équipe lorraine, Jules avait 25 ans et un palmarès inexistant lorsqu'il fut appelé à renforcer la division Leclerc de l'OM, tout juste revenue parmi l'élite. En compagnie d'autres bleus beaucoup plus prestigieux, Djorkaeff et Artélésa par exemple qui venaient de disputer la coupe du monde en Angleterre. Pareille promiscuité et le fait que ce stoppeur viril et généreux ne s'embarrassait pas de fioritures, firent à l'époque tordre le nez à certains. Qui durent presque aussitôt le baisser, confus de s'être trompés. Car s'il ne faisait pas dans la dentelle, Julot, comme Boileau, savait « cent fois sur le métier remettre son ouvrage »...Sept saisons durant, il allait être l'inamovible pivot défensif d'un groupe avec lequel (comme Lopez, Novi, Bonnel, Magnusson et Hodoul) il gagnerait deux coupes de France et 2 championnat. Au départ de Jean Djorkaeff pour Paris, en 1970, il en deviendrait même le capitaine heureux, récompensé d'abord par un titre, le 1er conquis par l'OM depuis 23 ans, puis par un doublé.
