Why the hell is George Best on the bench?

Because the formation is 'Default formation_The Jack Charlton Era: Euro '88, Italia '90 and World Cup '94'.

Otherwise Besty would of course feature.

Although he only played one season in Paris, Youri Djorkaeff was one of the keys of the success of the team in the 95-96 season. Like Enzo Francescoli in Marseille, during is one and only season in the club, he was regarded as one of the best french players, known for his constant dribbling and for often keeping the ball instead of passing. After the emergence of such a talent at Monaco where he played several years, and a highlight in Paris, he directly signed at Inter Milan where he spent 4 years before moving to Kaiserslautern, Bolton, and finishing his carreer at the New York Cosmos (like his idols Pelé and Beckenbauer).

Revealed under the colours of the FC Nantes with one of the greatest french club teams of the 90’s (Loko, Ouédec, Karembeu, N’Doram, Pedros, and many others), Patrice Loko moved to Paris in order to fill George WEAH’s extra large shoes. As he was a growing talent, a pretty good dribbler and scorer, many thought big things would come. But he proved to be irregular with Paris, along with Nouma and Dely Valdes who had trouble scoring regularly. He also had personnal problems and after a depression, he went back on the field, and although he wasn't bad, he lost most of his potential. Like Nicolas Anelka, he was one of the great French football hopes but never managed to keep it up.

(Will be posted with much better stats for Classic Nantes when he was at his peak)

I,ve been studying all the great players of the world and I have finally found the greatest ALL STAR ELEVEN , if things in life were justified then this would surely be the greatest starting eleven ever:

Lev YASHIN(rus)

Virginio ROSETTA(ita) Bobby MOORE(eng) MARQUITOS(spa)

Duncan EDWARDS(eng)

Jose ANDRADE(uru) Johan CRUYFF(hol) Diego MARADONA(arg)

Ernest WILIMOWSKI(pol) PICHICHI(spa) Arthur FRIEDENREICH(bra)

Make of it what you will but I believe that this would be the greatest .

This one goes out to all the French guys...

In classic France there is the player by the name of Bruno BELLONE, a 44 year old winger.

Here's a brief history lesson on him:

Bruno Bellone is a former football player born March 14th 1962. He played for AS Monaco from 1980 to 1987 and featured in World Cups '82 and '86 and in the winning side of Euro '84.

He later joined Cannes and had to retire early, aged 28 due to a serious injury.

:shocking: :shocking: :shocking:

So that means his age is his current age! A simple mistake I'm sure you will say but check out the previous games...

PES4: Aged 42
PES5: Aged 43
WE10: Aged 44

What a 'class A' f*ckup from Konami!
