I'll bring it back to topic...So there are WEFA rankings in We8 now? Cool!!

BTW...I'd say Reyes and Toure would be great players to buy if not too expensive...young...and room for improvement then!!

Been playing a few matches of WE8 ML.
Began with the Bolton team on 5*. Currently 2nd after about 7 matches of Div 2. Seems to be going well. But I lost to the top team after a shocking keeper error where he deflected it onto the post and it came back and stayed between his legs while he just stood there and the Seville striker tapped in for a simple goal.

Hoping that the top 2 in Div 2 get promoted
But it did tell me that Djorkaeff and Poole were going to retire soon. End of this season? That ain't good!

And my WEFA ranking wasn't that great either. Oh well. I'll need to buy a few players - typical Bolton type players? Where Rivaldo and Baggio?!

If you wanna check how your players are improving, goto the "Growth sheet" option in ML (I'm using the Fernando 0.5 patch). You'll see that players can be divided into early growth and later growth. Some players (eg Bryan Robson) only improve a lot closer to their 30s. Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player though, improves by leaps and bounds if you play him regularly.

I haven't scheduled any friendlies so far, but apparently friendlies "condition" your players for the new season and allow for more oppotunity for their stats to improve.

Umm...currently 73rd...second from bottom with PES United!! LOL Mistakenly put Real Madrid into my 2nd division lineup...crud...don't know how I drew with them! Keeper keeps making stupid errors to let eh opponents equalise!! Grrr...find a lot of penalties given actually...for both me and CPU!!

Is anyone know the calculating system?

When you look at the WEFA Ranking Page you can press R2 and see the leagues points.(For example; I made 4 leagues;Serie A,Premiership,La Liga,Bundesliga.And when you buy some good players from other leagues your league points increase.Now the points for me;
158-Serie A,139-Premiership,122-La Liga,79-Bundesliga.)

But When I won the serie A title the game didn't gave me 158 points,just 30 points or something.What is the points' system?

And how many points can you get when you win Champions League ?

I am playing as Man United. And Playin DV1 season 2 on 5*. WEFA Ranking 11

I have won the league and all the cups and conceading on 3 goals in all competitions.

I was unbeaten in all cups but still i am ranked 11th in WEFA Ranking. But i will carry on playing and hopefully reach the top and then stop pklaying master league.


when i was playing master league few days ago i scored crossed Leg shot from out side the box and chipping the goalie. I have saved the replay i will send it soon but don' know how? (where do u send ur replays). Has any body noticed Players like Ronaldo and Owen have different celberations in master league.

Have to wait for Pro Evo 4.
But could someone with WE8 please explain the set up of the Master League. I heard that they have stuck to the 16 teams in Div1 and 8 in division 2, this would be a disappointment considering the amount of teams available, I was hoping for a return to the longer road to the top adopted in Pro Evo 2. Surely they should have more teams in the lower division(s)

Yeah...the calculation seems a bit of a mystery...I hope I can figure out how to get points...seems a little silly if you gain points with better players!!!

well, you can gain points with castello and co. so it's not about how good your players are, I think it depends on how well you do against strong or weak teams kinda like the FIFA rankings

Check how many star is C.Ronaldo !! I have no problem getting him!! Try to increase his wages!!

Maybe check the likelyhood of him coming in...I think the number of stars when you press RIGHT on the D-pad will tell you how likely it is for players to come. If it shows no stars...pretty hard I guess!! I hope I am right...

Does anyone able to sign Ronaldinho? He has no star.

I am playing with Juve and 10. at the Wefa rankings(Barcelona is 8.) and I can't sign him.I offer 2000 to him and 25000 to club but the answer always no....

maybe he had recently signed a contract, you'll have to wait another year, or easily enough down grade your difficulty level in the transfer market, but then it wouldnt be as exciting, go for another player instead then.

i havent got pes4 yet and i was wondering wot the ML setup is lyk cuz i sounds lyk u cant buy ne gd players at the beggining but in pes3 if u just offer enough money u can buy nebody
