For those of you who have problems with this whole "patching" nightmare or live in countries where it's difficult to use RapidShare or FileFront, I've simplified everything as much as possible.

The torrent may be a little slow for the first 30 mins of me uploading the data until a few more leechers have data to sahre. I will keep uploading for 7 days.

This is the PES5 Superpatch in full with these additional updates also applied:
- New option file with updated appearances.
- Portsmouth callname fix.
- Frenkies stadium updates for: Online Stadium, San Siro, Stade Luis II, Velodrome and Training Stadium.


STEP 1:
Copy the 'KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT' file from the 'Updated Appearances Option File' folder to:
C:\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 5\save\folder1
(this will overwrite your old option file - you can simply take out your old option file and keep it

somewhere else for back-up purposes)

STEP 2:
Copy '0_sound', '0_text', 'e_sound' and ''e_text' to:
C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 5\dat
(this will overwrite your default .afs files - you can simply take them out and keep them somewhere else

for back-up purposes)

STEP 3:
If you want to play online with the new national teams, copy 'pes5.exe' from 'Online Only pes5.exe'

folder to:
C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 5 game)

DkZ Studio 0/90 is included in case you need it to apply future updates. Also included is Juce LOD mixer

which allows you to improve the graphical detail of the game and PESOFEditor v0.33 XP for any amendments

you want to make yourself to the option file.

1. Download the file in Wolf's link.
2. Go to http://www.bittorrent.com/ and download the latest BitTorrent client. (There are others, but this one will be fine)
3. When BT has downloaded and you've installed it, double click the file you grabbed in step 1 and BT will open and start rooting about for sources.
4. Wait.

That's it, really.

Hey sorry to be a dick and complain already.....
This patch is great and I am well impressed much better than an options file. The one prob is I downloaded the kits server thing for pro evo 5 from pro evolution online and it had all the new kits and I was happy :) However in this patch that has just been released Everton's kit is last seasons and not this seasons. Sorry to complain just so the people who created the patch know about it. If anyone could tell me where how to change it I would be really grateful cheers

anyone who is interested I fixed it now I reinstalled kit server with only the everton kit files so then they have the proper kits which is good. In case anyone else has the same problem hope that helps

Hi Wolf! Like a lot of people I have been eagerly awaiting this patch. However, no matter what I do with Bit Torrent I cannot get it to download. Does anyone please have any suggestions or a link to a non-Bit Torrent Download??? Please help! Seriously frustrated!!!

Can this not get hosted as a RAR on filefront or something else with public servers?

there are patches for we8 in da download section.

I have just 2 questions

1) Can we have 2 versions of PES5 on the same PC : The original one for online and the Superpatched for offline.

2) Is there a tutorial on how to play online with the Superpatch even if the other guy doesn't have it (I know it can be done by patching the DNAS authentification but I don't know how).

well you just have to read the manual more carefully mate!
there is something called the PES5 DEFAULT STARTER.exe or someting by that effect.

it allows you to have 2 version of pes5. basicly, the defaultstarter orders the previosly renamed original .asf's to run the game. while the pes5.exe corresponds with the patched .asf's.

the manual's charm mate. u just have to read thru it.
