Well basically, I have a master league team with Kalmar fc, with the pro evo players (Minanda, Castolo etc.) and in the Jan transfer window, I bought Ozil (76) and Breno (67) as free agents. I played them for one game, and then after the game, I went to transfer market news to see other transfers, and then I see that Breno's rating went down to 25... and I was like wtf. His stats were like Goalkeeper stats and he changed position to a GK. So the next game I played him CB and his rating was 20... it was basically playing a GK as CB, and he was awful.

After the game the PS3 froze, so I restarted it and then the same problem happened but not with Breno, it was with Ozil this time... his rating was still 76 but he changed to a GK and had GK stats and increased his age to 33 some how. Breno turned out fine.

Now basically I have to sell Ozil after ages trying to get him. I'm so annoyed right now.

Same happend to me, looks like all my new players change into keepers.
Happend to me with Bezzaz, Ozil and Ziani, all transfer free. I played a match with em and next match they are messedup.

I started a new game, and the same thing happend again. New players change into keepers. Some has an idea how to fix this.

i think that you can't buy two created players in the same transfer window.... you can only buy one.... i think that might be the solution but not really sure

I had this problem for PC. I just stuck through it and sold the messed up players in the next transfer window. Kinda retarded huh?

I think I solved the problem. It is that you cannot start your master league with classic players enabled. If you do and if you sign a free agent, he turns into a keeper, so basically you have to deactivate classic players, and you have to sign the players from the club itself. And, without classic players, there are less free agents but you can still get the free agents with no problem.

I have kind of the same problem. I play on xbox 360 and dont use any option files or edited data. Yesterday I decided to start a new master leaque with Everton. After a few games I wanted to change my formation cause I wasn't doing to well so I checked my line-up. In the line up, Yakubu had disappeared and in his place was a black, empty space. So I checked under my team, and saw that Heitinga was there twice, I had two Heitinga's in my line up. Because i didn't want to start over I let one heitinga go, but they both dissapeared! I went to next week and Heitinga was back in my teamlist, only registered to Sporting and with the gold thingy behind his name as if he was on loan. So I skipped another week to see what would happen, The next week he was registered to my sqaud, but as a GK!! He was really good actually, with 87 overall rating and 91 in keeper skills.

Anyway, I can't seem to start a normal Master league anymore, every time i start one there is a player doubled in my team list and another player is missing. I always disable classic players so thats not the problem. I don't understand how this could happen, I have a legit xbox and game, and never used any option files. I have played pro evo for severall years now and am loving the latest installment but this really pisses me off!!

I'm on PS3 with the default OF, and while I haven't had anyone change into a keeper, I have had that disappearing act a couple times, and three or four occurrences of massive Overall Rating drop. For instance, I started watching Gakpe at 74 and Sturridge at 72, and while their actual stats didn't change and improve normally, their ORs fell by exactly 20 points after the first scout report came in. I signed them anyway, and while their ORs show correctly in Game Plan and they play just fine, in Training, Player Search, and elsewhere, their ORs are still in the 50s.

Probably you all got problems with bad option files (or patch)... At least I think so.

This is not supposed to happen... Ever...

And its not konami's fault...

Again, it's probably a bad option file/patch

Like I said before, I don't use any option files or patches. Plus I have the original game so no illegal copy or anything like that.
