in the Nike boots thread the above vid got posted proving that nike boots were in the game, and that it wasn't a patch. so, if this video that got posted isn't a patch, does this mean that third kits are now in the game, seeing as Uniteds default away strip is the white one?

I'm afraid that's the PC version of the demo and someones imported the third kit over the second kit. I have that same kit stored on my hard drive ready for the full game as well as the new France Home kit.

As for the boots I don't know, they are just as easy to import as the kits but i'm sure i've heard people who've seen the final version have seen them. I do know there are Nike balls in the game, seen the textures in the demo (although you can't use them).

So theres Nike balls in the final build??? But you can't use them??? Whats the point in having the fuckin things?

yo there is a nike ball its black and white and there are nike boots-
vapours(blue)
air legends(black and white)
laser t90(red)

The boots aren't a patch. There will be Nike boots in the game along with Puma. That's official from Konami (was in PSM3 magazine). I assume the balls will be too but not 100% on that.

As for the kits, if you look closely you will see it has the Champions League writing around Man Utd's emblem. So it may be just the blue kit just for Champions League mode only. I am just guessing as I know Liverpool have a seperate shirt just for their Champions League games in real life.

your right on the boots mate but the blue man utd shirt is a patch trust me
plus the green vapours on the video is also a patch thers only blue ones

That's a shame. It would be good to have a third strip. Played Newcastle V Reading on Pes2008 in the league and as you couldn't change the strips before the game like in arcade mode, Newcastle shirt (black & white) plus Reading away shirt (black & grey) = COLOUR CLASH!

Very annoying. This was same with a few other teams but can't remember which.

I hope there is nike boots & balls for that matter. Only disappointment is the stadia.(Anfield & Old Trafford missing)

Hopefully they give you the option to change the kits before any match this year. Not just exibition.

yh gutted not old trafford and anfield you know what would have been good to cover the dissapointment of no third kits the mix and match kit selection thing they had on pes5 or 6

they still haven't sorted out the defence! players run straight through them! i am becoming increasingly concerned that PES 2009 is going to be PES 2008 all over again.

Maybe they'll put that in PES2010! lol Roll on Oct 16th (My games always arrive day before release which is great)
