That's because injuries are turned off by default in order to discourage foul play. The fairness of most online players is quite surprising actually. When I play with mates I tend to get hacked down three or four times a game, but online everyone seems very gentle. Maybe I've just been lucky so far...

Come on...lets be honest here...
If I choose a medium class team like: Atlético, Sporting ( I use), Benfica ( I use), Valencia, Lazio, PSG, Lyon, Marseille, Arsenal, City, ManU, EVEN Milan, Inter, Man U,Juve.... You need to WORK A LOT to beat a medium-Brained or (half-decent) PES player using MADRID or BARZA online... WHY???
Why--->
1st: You have the button lag, that do almost impossible to do a proper tackle to stop Ronaldos, Messis, Benzimas, Kakas, Robinhos, Zlatans,Rooneys, Etoos...etc.
2nd: You can use the DEICI idea and set up a defensive strategy...like 4-5-1 or being a pressing and counterattack team...but if you do it all the time...your team is gonna be really affected in the STAMINA by the halftime...and if you have bad lock and you are 1 or 2 goals down...you are dead.
3rd: The inconsistency in the GKs, specially in the smallers teams its really noticeable...because of that, its really possible that the Barza, Madrid, Argentina or Brazil user team will score at least one goal... even from a corner...
4th: Be carefull using the press to HIGH, because if the Half-Brained player with the super team base his play in Long cross balls you are dead...and nobody its so damn bad to play all the game running with Messi or Ronaldo.
My strategy is:
-Against Madrid... Play 4-3-3 with all 4 defences defence minded, 2 CMF and 1 DMF defense minded, put a good Header CF and 2 quick good crossers Seconds Forwards...try to play really open across all the field, a la Barza... The defence in Madrid its no so good... I change attack by attack with them... Win Rate with these tactics: 60% using Benfica.
-Against Barza... Do not use any team strategy because Barza its a really good team with great midfilders like Xavi or Iniesta ( Long Rangers), a Real good defence with Puyol,Piqué,Milito, Abidal, and Touré Yaya like DMF... and of course Messi and Zlatan...just really dificult to stop... My strategy its try to stop messi with bad intensions... try to press them to go into the cutback back center to Zlatan and press against the line given a Corner...then Pray...
To attack Barzas you need to puch with everything for the Maxwell or Alves side...try to get there and center or try going with long rangers...because thr GK its average... Win Rate: Maybe 50% with Benfica.
Against Brazil or Argentina...just pick one BIG team like France, Italy, Spain...dont try them with small or medium teams like Zcech, Croatia, even Portugal...dont even think in Chile (my country) or Asian teams...its just really unfear...
IMHO the real shitty thing playing against Barzas/Madrids teams with mediums teams, its that the game become really defensive... you need to put all your forces just trying to stop they Big Players...and you can not play a balanced game... just like real life...but with really inconsistent GK...and in the other hand...there is so much diference between Barza / Madrid and teams like Sevilla, Inter, ManU,Arsenal,Atlético, Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool... that its a arcade thing...

What pisses me off every year Konomi does not want to listen to real players about Barcelona been Top team all years, MU last year, this time Real etc. Looks like they make these teams overrated for useless w...nkers to keep interested in buying PES and enjoying beating most of the players with almost no effort. In the end of the game you see that disgusting stats when opponent team has like 40 succesfull passes, top guys like Messi, CR, Kaka, Rooney, Etoo, Pato, Robino, Aguerro etc dribbling running distance 500m+. And also amount of cheap lucky goals they get using these players. Also i noticed if you want to score with those players you just press shoot , if you want to score header you lob it with just single press of lob button(no early crosses or double presses) and ball will find Benzema or Henry etc. More complicated youll go less chances of scoring you will have. Of course ive played some really good players who use above teams but we dont talk about it here))) I agree with all points with ferdinand, but you have to much much better to beat cheap player which use Barca and Real with medium team and you can still concede that "lucky" goal in the end.

DSingh69 is the funniest. He states Arsenal vs Similar and will then change late on.
I had Inter which i beat him with and rematch later on he was arsenal again and i was inter but at the last second low and behold Madrid appear. Thats a pretty low tactic for any player.
JamesTracey was partly my fault as i didn't notice the obvious signs of a tool with the ML icon lit. He was Aston Villa so i chose Birmingham City - however i didnt relize his Aston Villa had Messi, Ronaldo, Robinho, Benzema, Kakka etc
He couldn't understand why i was bit pissed off and was calling me a CRAP player!!! The irony.
Again i'd avoid these players if i were you.

Has anybody else noticed that the cockiest players tend to be the losers that pick Barca, Real or Brazil?
I played some tosser last night who scored 3 crappy goals and made me watch all the replays and kept pressing " thank you" and "wow".

Its so many idiots out there, people hiding behind the internet and always doing the same things as sniper wrote. If i с that type of behaviour in return i always show them evereything : full celebration, replay from two angles very enjoyable to watch them disconnect. But seriously you should avoid quick matches as you have deja vu almost all the time and join some nice comunities or rooms with good people which im gonna do now.
Yep, I do that myself. If someone deliberately shows me replays of crap goals I do the same back. You can tell if they're doing it on purpose, if it's a great goal I don't mind watching myself. When it's a crappy goal like a cheesy header or a one on one run with Ronaldo sliding past the keeper and " goal" "goal" "thank you" "wow' "goal". You know it's just a little idiot trying to act smart.

I am a Man u fan, and i cant even think of me playing with any other team. Idont like all that running around even when we had ronaldo in pes09, when i knew he was going to real i took him out, same with tevez. I really think konami has to do something about it, you have to try really hard to beat them and even then u can lose the game any time, because if they dont score in regular play, ur defense will do something stupid (why i dont know) for sure. the hardest time i have it when i play barza. i looked in to the number and they looked ok to me, but when u go look at that player index thing they have now, its crazy, henry got like 12 of those things, my best player barely have like 6. i think the best thing they can do is to give and take a set amount of point evry time and not depending on ur rank.
I have been suggesting this for the past 2 years, but no one understands me.
We need an online mode where people are given a random team with random daily forms. Together with this, a seperate ranking ladder based on the results of these random matches.
This will, in the long run, show who has really mastered PES, and who is dependent on certain players and teams, i.e. barca boys etc.
This will lower my yearly stress levels, and maybe my hair might grow back.

I used FC Copenhagen, they have a player called Sainton, he's like lightning fast. I beat the other guy using Swisspor, because this guy was just to quick for their defenders.
First time I used Real Madrid in ages last night, and it's just ridiculous how easy it is to win with Ronaldo. I ran from one end of the pitch to the other and scored, run past four of his players. Another time the guy slide tackles Ronaldo and connects, but he mananges to keep his balance, pass the ball to Benzema and goal.
This guy was using Inter and quite a good player, so no mug.
Why they make Ronaldo so unplayable? I thought Messi and Torres were the games poster boys this year.

I totally agree with all of you guys.Barca or Real or Brazil are mostly invincible...especially messi,kaka or cristiano.And today I take Croatia in hope that my opponent will take same rank team but he takes Brazil.I mean...wtf???

For the record I almost never choose Barca, Real, Brazil or Argentina. There are so many teams to explore in this game...why would I want to bore myself with that nonsense just so I can accumulate a 475-3 record and brag about ranking? When was the last time I played someone who picked a team like Napoli, Valencia, Spurs, Everton, or Ivory Coast? The answer is NEVER. It's all the same run run runners who reduce the game to 100% wing play. Zzzz

I don't care which team they use, but I usually I choose a team acoording to my opponent, if they choose real, I will be barca, if they pick korea, I would pick japan.
but some time I got cheated, they pick a weak team first, when I choose a a weak team too and wait, they quickly switch to bra and enter the game.
