Too easy to score

Although I am still not used to PES5 (on 5*) and am getting tackled too easily, I am finding it too easy to score with players (esp. from long range) like Henry, RvP, Reyes, et al. I could have little of the possesion and still easily win. Example is I beat Chelsea 8-1 on 5* (30min game) when I could barely run with the ball. I have played over a dozen games and lost only one and when I do win its by over 3 goals. I am not showing off as most people are better than me, but instead pointing out that I think Konami have made a mistake or gone over the top with this out of the box scoring!

That not being able to run with players like Robben is bollocks, have to pass all the time.

I've been banging volleys and headers in from every were but one on one a couldn't score in a gang rape.

Im with you on that, i always find that its difficult to get to the box but once ur there, its easy to score.

Every shot i have seems to go at 10000000mph aswell.:eek:hmy:

Exactly my point. With the point about scoring in the box I agree it is harder to slot it home than in PES4. However I like the way Konami have made it easier to score from a tighter angle or score at the near post (which rarely happened in PES4). This has made it much more realistic!

Yeah, I've found that too with Cisse scoring from funny angles.

As for the running at teams, I'm sure once we've all got used to the feel of the games it'll be easier to run at teams, I've found using R2 is the best wayand it's pretty easier just to run around a player but I don't think it will ever be like PES4 running at players full pelt, which is a shame.

What ive really found easy is freekicks, Ive banged in 6 freekicks in 2 days, its a joke now.

30 minute game?

No wonder the score is high

If I played for a week I wouldnt come on here complaining it was 44-43

I used Robben in the middle AMF on the demo and he was flying through defenders.

Yeh but the it also gives the otehr team more chance to score, especially on 5*. In 10-15 minute games I find although the score is a little lower I still get lots of goals as the game is designed to make it much easier to score in shorter games to avoid goalless draws too pften).

i find it difficult too, i can't get past the player taht easily, and passing is usually intercepted too.

I can score the spectacular goals, but when it comes down to the simple one on ones, can I fucking score...nope....takes the piss tbh.

The amount of fouls is now really starting to bug me and the sluggish ball control and the crappy passes, aaaarrrrggghhh! Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm used to it, otherwise you'll find at St. Clements nut house in Ipswich very soon.

for one-on-ones, try the controlled shot.... or just do a dummy / fake shot / run & stop
Should score easy enough.

I think it's niether too easy nor too hard to score.

The shooting in general is much better this year IMO

The CPU teams defend so deep that taking long shots is the only option sometimes as there is just no space in the box. The game is starting to get on my nerves to be honest and although I'm sure I'll get used to it I just hope that they haven't made another PES3 where the CPU just cheats all the time.

Didn't we all used to moan our heads off that you couldn't score from outside the box hardly ever? Also, most people moaned it was too hard to score from free kicks as well.... no pleasing some people methinks. I am well happy with the free kick system now as supposed experts get the ball on target or very close to it all the time which they should because...they are free kick experts.

As for it being too easy to score, I have to say I disagree. I might just be useless of course and I certainly could be more composed in the box at times lol, but I find that I am more likely to win 1-0 than any other score, because the game seems to be trying to teach us that a sturdy defence is essential to start with and that you build on that with goals. I imagne this is going to play a huge part in Master League when I start one, as with the duffers in the team, it is going to be imperative to keep clean sheets and hope to nick on up the other end. That sai, in a good burst, i think i scored 6 or 7 in a half hour of play at one point, so can see why that dude might have won 8-1.

You can run round players, just not every time... and mostly you will find that the nest time to do run is when you arent surrounded...when there is a bit of space to run into...and what's silly about that?
