too many unpunished disconnects

i am so frustrated now. today, i've got over 10 disconnects from different kinds of users. once your completion rate in the last 10 matches goes lower than 70%, you automatically only get paired with same kind of players. Most of them will drag you down and disconnect in the end if they lose, so you don't get the win, and your completion rate worsens.

I honestly had over 10 matches today that i was winning, and the idiot quit on me. Konami penalizes us both, doesn't even give me the money well deserved. It's like nothing happened and my completion rate decreases. I feel like i wanna throw this computer away, this is not fair.

Konami should ban such players. Is there anyway I can report such players to Konami? I'd record with fraps, do whatever they ask me. I wanna see those idiots punished, they deserve to die slowly.

there just alot of people who are retards at the game who can't play but doesn't like losing. I was looking online, apparently theres these lag switches people make and use when they're losing, not only for this game but other games as well, I'm sure that Konami is aware of the issue but they probably decided that it was too much effort to fix it, and they'll probably lose alot of customers, because so many of the people who play online cheats.

If you didn't get the money from it then it's probably your connection? I have had about 9 disconnects all in all, about 6 of the times i've been given money for the win still (still get the warning about 70% completion) a few times I have not been given anything , i think this is when my connection disconnects.

Yeah I play alot of call of duty and apparently lag switches are used often.. however i've heard alot of people say they are actually a myth. I'm undecided.

No Mark, it's not my connection, I assure you. It can't be my connection when I'm obviously winning, it's min 88. I see he no longer controls his player, he's afk, because he obviously alt-tabbed and does the trick. Then I see the message, something like "This game can no longer continue because the connection has worsened"; i get disconnected, the match just does NOT count. If it was my connection, they would probably give him the win.

its not your connection, people purposely make their connection so bad that the game can no longer go on, because pes works on a p2p system, the system does not realize who is to blame, therefore the game ends and no one takes the blame for it.

I tested my connection on ps3, it shows a 23mb/s download speed and a 49x kb/s upload speed. I really doubt it's me when this kind of things happen, especially when it always happens when i'm winning. As for the games where you actually get money, its because people actually rage quit

I don't know why in MLO people would quit in the 88th minute, makes no sense whatsoever. Throwing free money away.

you're not getting the point, mark, they didn't "quit" they made their connections so shit that the server abandoned the game, therefore instead of losing, they just start all over again.
if you're on the US version of ps3, go check the number1 guy in d1, i believe he's on a 4xx game winning streak, and i played that guy in pes 2011, he's not even good at the game.

to clarify, if ur opponent quits i.e u get a 3-0 forfeit win, does your match completion rate go down aswell as his? i know it does if ur opponent cheats by getting the match abandonded

Yes, any network disconnect (even after an opponent quits) will result in a reduction to the match completion rate for both players.

I have also noticed that it sometimes add fatigue to players that did not even feature in the game that was disconnected, but I cannot determine the rule that is applied in this case.
