Top 10 things you want in PES11

I got the game not too long ago and have played the most updated version for a few weeks now so my thoughts are based off of my intial gameplay reactions.

- ML player trading should be more hands on and not based on the "hope" factor that my scout or whoever is negotiating can get something done. It is frustrating not being able to get players at any price. Everyone has a price...

- AI tackling is a complete joke. I get hacked all game in and around the box by the AI with no repercussions for their defending. How the hell do they slide tackle from the back and win balls fairly when I tackling from the front and get called on tapping a shinguard with my big toe?

- Better response by all players around the ball. Like other mentioned, if the ball is next to you, go get it! If players get dispossesed, don't stand around staring straight ahead wondering how you lost the ball. Go get it!

- I don't know if it's just me but one touch passing and shooting seems very bad this time. I played my buddy last night and every pass and shot on goal came with a delay which gave him ample time to come and dispossess me.

Maybe it's just me but in the master league i would like the option to change players boots, that way iwouldn't need to quit ML and go to edit to do it, plus you would have the option to give your youth players the desired boots. Having all my players running around in the stock black boots annoys me. lol

Oh yeah, youth players relevent to the country of your team i.e an english clubs youth players being mostly english, spanish mostly spanish etc.

If i feel like im controlling everything except the general intelligance of the players then ill be happy with that.

Pes for me has always been about angles. People say, your such a good finisher, i tell them, no i just practised with certain angles. So i get it right, only bad luck, stamina, great defending, wheather or the referee can stop me. Thats what i like. I would play some beautiful games. It wouldn't always be attack attack. But i would keep the computer or my oppenent guessing. With some above average defeding and a good enough midfield i know that i only need mabie 3-4 chances tops to score. Thats what i love about it. The other guy is playing really well. His concentration dips, BANG, a near miss or i've punished him, now he has to try and get 1 back, this is where i become more dangerous. He gets a corner, i win the header 90 percent of the time, then im counter attacking, the other guy really has to step his game up. Whats great is when the other guy goes 3-0 up against me. You see an attacking performance up there with the best of them. Because in those moments, its usually siosjaer type football, 1 chance 1 goal. Makes for some beautiful replays and some great excitement, because the other player knows not to give me a chance, then the times where im gifted a chance and a goal doesn't come out of it, they give a huge sigh of relief. Or the times when the other guy is 2-0 up and misses an open goal. Then i start attacking hes like "fuck fuck fuck".

The last 3 games have stopped this from happening, its just "ill get to the bi line and triple tap circle for a high low cross and repeat over and over again.

But i love it because i can give anyone a game, because im average at defending and devestating upfront. So that makes for great end to end football and i have to try and unlock the guys defence at a really high speed from all angles. If pro evo gives me that this year, ill be over the moon

Give you about 20 commenters to choose from in English


It would give it an intense relism. Have some geordie commentator 1 week, then a scouser the next, they dont even need to be well known. Then the player will probably choose, tyldsely, motson, greene, angry grey or whoever he wants for the big games.

I played a hockey game that i bought back in 1998. A really good game, fun to play with friends. Still to this day dont know what icing means when they do that thing, but whatever lol. When i played it 1 time with a friend he smashed my guy into a wall breaking his back. Then 1 of his players tripped mine over,then my player gets up and starts a punch up with him. We were laughing in tears, we didn't know you could fight, this was 1998 for christs sake and were in england, were not that into hockey. But not only that, we heard the announcer say something crazy. "A ten year old boy named david has gone missing, he is about 5 feet tall with brown hair, we ask him or anyone that has seen to to escort him to the reception area thankyou" thats crazy, that was 12 years ago. You play games like madden, even in 2002 they were doing video desicions, i won the superbowl because there player in the last second was found to be out of the end zone when he caught a pass, we were tied and that was the last play.

So i think whatever direction pro go in, it seems they want insense relism as far as the physics go, but it isn't there, they should be leaps and bounds ahead of where there are, football is the biggest sport in the world for christs sake and these are the games we have representing that?

I wouldn't be suprised if another football sim comes out and destroys the both of them fifa and pes. Who knows what the future holds

1.) Button shortcut for automatically rewinding replays to the beginning.
2.) Play Again feature brought back for Training mode.
3.) Super Cancel feints to work like they did in last-gen PES.
4.) Long Pass Modes brought back.
5.) Have Difficulty information on replay saves.
6.) Increases the replay save limit from 50 to 100.
7.) Give us the option to use the right stick for tricks.
8.) Have refs that actually give penalties against the CPU.
9.) Decent commentary that doesn't claim almost every match is between huge clubs with massive budgets even when it's Bahrain vs. Oman, and doesn't act like the end of the 1st half is the end of the 2nd half.
10.) A Challenge mode in Training that teaches you how to do the tricks and helps you get better at shooting and passing.

i want to say my opinion about PES 11 DEMO. i'm playing pes from the first series. when i saw pictures of Côte d'Ivoire players i was so happy that graphic of athletic, body was so improved.
PES 2011 is very good thing passes, shoot and other things is fine, but graphically it's really shit, same as pes 2008 or something, i can't understand what this screenshots mean (france, Henry, Côte d'Ivoire)

will pes 2011 full improved graphically ? i thnk you lost about quality, faces is same and etc.
in the history on the PC PES was best but today if you pes full will be same as demo FIFA will beat you, i'm really satisfied like fan of pes !!!

My Top 10

Some of these are a little abstract, things I would like to test out in a football game. In no particular order.

1) More Leagues, primarily: Championship, League 1, League 2.

2) Weather that makes a noticeable difference to playing and with the atmosphere.

3) Balls that have stats: lighter, heavier, more bounce etc..

4) A training screen like what Fifa has for its Loading screen. Just with more choices.

5) Good, fun gameplay, fast paced, well made.​

I was thinking with Dash, currently when you hold it down, you run at one 'running' speed, which really doesn't feel very fast.. and when you continously Tap Dash all you seem to do is hit the ball a little further infront :/.

I think the Tap Dash function should give you a Stamina bar, with say.. 5 seconds of Sprint, actual sprint, not the current Dash which is like light Jogging. The sort of sprint that gives you less control of the ball, but lets you pull away from defenders, or run down the wings, without the 90% chance of the defender catching you up EASILY, like currently.

6) Good shooting, with hundreds of different kinds of shots, a massive variety.​

When dashing and shooting, about 80% of my shots all fly over the bar, regardless of power.. its really annoying, they look like the player is leaning back as he shoots.. running slightly faster shouldn't result in the inability to kick a ball lower than 8 feet.

7) ALL LICENCES FOR TEAMS AND PLAYERS.

8) Greatly improved Commentary, more realistic, talking to eachother, talking about teams and players by name and describing tactics and decisions.
