top player problem..?!?!?

here it is, i have been racking my brain for weeks now trying to figure out why when i start a ml, on top player, and save my replays it says i am playing on regular..? i have tried uninstalling and all. i am using the latest superpatch and have tried numerous different option files...but to no avail. when i go into regular training from the main menu and save a replay thru there it shows as being on top player, but when i save replays in my ml it says reg or professional...what gives..? i want a chance at GOTM, but i can't if it says i am playing on regular. plus there is no way i am playing on regular, the cpu is way too good to be on regular...the cpu defense closes on me super fast and i have lost many a game, not to mention the cpu has pulled of some pretty sick goals on me which would be impossible if it were on regular...any ideas..? thanks in advance for any help..

nope, everyone has the same problem, it's something that could easily have been noticed and fixed by konami, but they let it slip

Maybe it's because you're playing with the negotiations set on easy?

Some time back I was playing on amateur and transfers hard, when I saved my goals it said regular...

no, that's not the reason... it just always says regular
