Buy Aguero or Orellano for your striker. They are great. Develop very fast. Good Top Speed and Shot Accuracy. Farfan is your another option.
For Midfielder, buy Fabregas. Although he is crap at first, he will be better than Gerrard if you train him well. Another options are Lee Chun Soo, Maxi Rodhiquez, Nani, Shimizu, and Shaw.
For Defender, I like using reborn players. Since this is your first season, you can try Seitaridis, Dakaga, or M. Sakho.
For Goalkeeper, I usually use Van Der Sar (reborn player). Another options: Yohan Pele and Curci.

I would say Ibrahimovic because he is amazing at body balance but not really good at finishing.If you want to score alot of goals i would say Torres
