Transferring Option File To PS3 Tutorial

Using a Memory Device

1. Put your USB/Memory Stick into your PC.
2. On the PC create the following folder paths in the device: PS3\EXPORT\PSV.
3. Put the PS3 gamesave into the folder called PSV.
4. Boot up PS3 with PES2008 already in the drive.
5. Follow the prompts to create an internal PS2 memory card.
6. Put your memory device into your PS3, go along to games, then memory cards.
7. Copy the OF from your device to the PS2 internal memory card you just created.

OR

Using a PSP

1. Boot up PS3 with PES2008 already in the drive.
2. Follow the prompts to create an internal PS2 memory card.
3. Select USB mode on PSP.
4. Under GAME DATA on dash find PSP folder.
5. Select 'Display All'.
6. Find the PS3\EXPORT\PSV folder.
7 Highlight the Option File
8. Press :triangle:.
9. Select copy.
10. Copy to the PS2 internal memory card you just created.

Another cry for help!

Hi have created an internal ps2 memory card but then when i click on my flashcard in the game section it says 'no saved data'. Have followed the other instructions and downloaded several different updates but cant find any of them on the ps3. i can however see the files that they are in when i look under the music folder or vieo folder. Help needed please!!

Yeah i think so but not the best with computers! i created the folder called PS3 on the flashcard and then created one inside that called EXPORT and then the same again. Is this corret??

Yeah just tried restarting the ps3 but still nothing comes up. The files i have downloaded are RAR files is this correct. Sorry to keep bothering you but sounds like its a really good update!

Oh I see.
You need to download WinRAR first to open the RAR files.

Hi sorry to bother you again, i downloaded winRAR and unzipped the files then added them to my flashdrive and then tried to add them to my ps3 but still isnt working. Is there anyway u could send me the update so that all i need to do is put it on the flashdrive and straight into the ps3 because i have run out of ideas! Would be very much appreciated.

Hi thanks for the reply, after using winRAR it unzips it into a folder which contains lots of other files so dont think it has worked properly!

Create a new folder & extract the items into it. Then put that folder into the PSV one.

Hi tried extracting them and putting them into a new folder but none of the files show up when i put the flashcard in the ps3. could you please sent me a folder that is ready to put onto my flashcard? Would be very very grateful!

Is this thread made for people who play PES 2008 for PS2 on a PS3? Or is this thread made for people who like to use option files of the PS2-Version for their PS3-Copy of the game.

Would be quite interesting for me to know!
