two vs two passing in WE8I (USA)

Sorry if this has be discussed before. If so, just post the link.

My friends and I play 4 player games all the time. 2 vs 2.

So far in WE6I(USA), WE7I(USA) and in PES4, in the same team, when one player passes the ball, the other player receives the ball. That is, if me and my friend "uncle tom" playing in the same team, if I pass the ball to a un-selected player of my team, that player will be automatically be chosen as uncle tom's player.

But in WE8I(USA), the passing scheme changed. The player passing the ball, receives the ball (unless of course, you do a quick change player). That is I pass to an un-selected player, I will be controlling the unselected player once it receives the ball. Since we have practicing the other way, it is very annoying. Is this behavior changable?

Yeah I think thats the best way to play multi-player
