U.S. October 19 Release Date

I haven't found a thread about the U.S. release date and if there is, sorry.

You guys will probably rip me apart for writing this without it being an "official" press release from Konami (at least that I know of), but according to ebgames' and amazon's website the release date is October 19, so that's roughly 11 days after the U.K release, maybe next year will get it the same date who knows.

If you go to Konami's website and try to preorder the game, it will link you to amazon's website, so I believe that if Konami links to amazon for preordering of the game, amazon must have the real release date.
Also ebgames' website had a release date of November 2 (if I remember correctly) about a week ago, and was recently changed to the October 19 date.

PS: Who's getting the U.S. version of the game for PS3?

Getting it for the 360, so this is good news, thanks for the info. Since I'm on Brazil I'll probably end up getting it around Nov 2, whilst I would have to wait until around the 15th if the 2th was the real release date.

Fingers crossed.

ill be getting it for the ps3 again. I am hoping to once again be able to do my quick base option file and hope to release it the same day if not the day after. There is a lot more to update this year I fear with kits and emblems and what not so the quicker i can accumulate info the better but we shall see

I hope the ONLINE will be universal , or outs I hope again more people in the U.S. buy PES 2011 for PS3 so that we play online together

Preorder at Zavvi.com best prices rightnow , Free Shipping to U.K , 3 dollars I think for U.S.

You will get it about 10 days after the release date here in the U.S.

PS3 33 UK + 3 ship = 56 Dollars in U.S.

P.C £24.95 + 3 = 46 $ U.S

Usually I get the PC version because of the support for the game -- i.e. online, option files, etc. I have gotten the US PS3 version before, but the support wasn't there to justify the purchase which is more than the imported PC version from the UK.

But maybe this year I will make the move if others here do as well -- and it seems there will be an option file done early which is a plus.

Well us Americans keep each other updated.

Will there be a good option file for the US version?
I'm debating on whether I should get it or order a EU copy.

Yea, hope so too. The last game I bought was UK PES 2009, cause of the online play options..

Option files are key. I usually get the PC version for this reason. Can't wait for the release.

Personally, I am leaning towards getting the PS3 US version this year. With OML and the PC version not readily available in the states, it'd be hard to get any online play on, and this year looks to be the first in a long time in which PES will actually be worth it to play online.

Anyway, just my thoughts at this point. But option file will be the real deal breaker if there isn't enough support for the US version.

Actually let me rephrase. After seeing the price in the states now -- from $49 a year ago to $59 this year -- I am moving back towards the PC version, which is much cheaper even as an import. So price is beginning to sway me!

Yeah, I am also looking to import the UK PC version. Wish there was a US pc version...
Any suggestions on good, legit websites to buy from? Last year I got it from a seller on Amazon.

Shopto.net & gameseek.co.uk are good choices. I will probably order it from shopto

As far as option files go i release mybase option file every year. I do kits for the epl and missing spanish teams. I never really touch the national teams because i never play with them. I correct all the names, cup names and everything... Matter of fact below is a list of everything i did last year and I believe i got the option file out the same night of release. i did make updates in the following day or two but i was able to crank everything out by late night of the release date last year just judging by my posts in my thread for last year. every year someone (Still-shady, pategato and some others) always use my option file as a base and make tons more updates to it. whether they do it or not this year is beyond me but normally once i am done editing and making minor corrections here and there i am done with releasing updates to the option file.

Things you can find in the OF
Corrected team names
Corrected Cup and league names
Removed Duplicate player names from national teams
Correct player names
All emblems put in the game for the EPL and La Liga teams
Kits done for the EPL (Thanks to JACKWHOBRA's excellent template and pngs)
LA Liga kits done thanks to rosh11, umbroboy, and rabaldhino
Updated EPL squad numbers
Did all the transfers for the MAJOR 5 leagues the other teams i did a couple here and there.

I'm getting the US PS3 version this year... just like in every previous year.

I had FIFA11 on pre-order but just cancelled it.. I'm giving PES one more chance.
