How did you register these newly created players to the Classic England team?

you create them and after you go the edit mode and in register national team(or transfer for national team) and when you select a man, the list of all the english player of the game appear and you select the player you want .

But when I do that, I can only find England - Classic England isn't there. Instead, it's under club teams, and that doesn't seem to work the same way.

You have to bite the bullet & edit them over the original team members you don't want anymore.

Nah, but I did Le Tissier. He's kind of a similar style of player. Anderton's a bit quicker, but less skilled.
