Unable to sell Players

I am playing as Bayern Munich in 2020. My Squad is pretty good and my players are very expensive. Last season I was not able to win anything what did force me to sell a player to manage the finances in the next transfer period. The problem is that my players do instantly decline any transfer offers because they want to stay at my club. I am not able to sell one of my stars. They are all above 15mill market value but no one wants to buy them.

I've got a defender who is at about 12mill market value, he is beeing looked by liverpool and they are sending me a offer, but it dont get it. When I look at the player info it says that a offer has been sent. After the transfer window is closed it says "Transfer declined".

Anyone can help me with this? I need 50mill before I need to pay the finances and I need to sell a player to get the cash.

If you can't sell your players, put operating cost levels to 4, that should save a lot money. Cannot answer your question.

Either you're going to have to put more players up for sale and hope someone bites, or you're going to have to get rid of players to lower the wage bill.

I'm in the same year as you and transfers are definitely a lot quieter than they are at the beginning. I think one of the problems is having a player on huge wages, you might be pricing yourself out the market as no other club can really afford to buy him. I had a few guys on 16M a year wages and I couldn't sell them, I had to release them in the end.

Hm, seems like a bug to me. If you win the different cups and you get better players no other club is able to buy them because of your sucess... they seem to have no "money cheat" which means they need to earn money to buy plays and when the player wins everything they cant get their money.

It does seem that way, but it's the opposite at the beginning of ML so it makes me wonder if the AI teams start off with a huge amount of money and once they've spent it all and aren't winning anything (because you are) then they end up skint. I'm just guessing, as are you, I don't know the mechanics of the game. But after 10-11 seasons that's the way it feels.

Having said that I did receive two large bids for a couple of players I had on the transfer list this season. One bid was 24M and the other was 54M, both players were on small wages though and they're the first large transfers I've received in about 5 seasons.
