Game and other game only shops like to stick to release dates, scout the supermarkets from now, they dont care about set release dates for games.

game didn't stick to the release date the last two years.

Having looked around a few shops (game, game station, HMV etc) i could not see any of them selling PES 5, well not openly anyway, 21/10/05 looks certain to be release date, pre orders may come a day or two early.

I orderd mine from tesco which is like a 10 minute drive away, so hopefully i could have it by wednesday at the latest

I ordered from gameplay and their expected dispatch date is 19 or 20, so i expected it to arrive a day earliest at the most

Rang Game in Gateshead, they said if i ring up on Wednesday they could have it on sale if other game shops in the MEtro Centre break the release date of course.

It's strange. I searched for the release dates of PES5 (PS2 Version) in Google and some websites say 20th of October but others say the 21st of October. Oh well, I'm just preparing for PES5 by doing some finger exercises.

Yes, Konami Germany says 20-10 and Konami UK says 21-10.
I guess it will be 1 day later in the UK than on the continent. That was also the case with PES 4.

I havent as yet pre-ordered my version of PES 5, i usually just go down to Woolies on the day and pick up a copy, however ive seen some advertising online from Tesco, and they are doing it for £29.97. I live quite near to a Tesco, and i was unsure whether my branch actually stocks any games. So i went up tonight and just had a look, and they do, which is good, they had all the latest releases such as Fifa 06, and Tiger Woods 06, so im taking it they will be doing PES 5 as well.

Im thinking of getting up there for Midnight on the early hours of Friday Morning, and see whether i can get my copy. Im gonna take a chance and get up there, if it isnt on the shelf i will just ask at customer services and see if they have it there. Is anyone else planning to get it from a Supermarket Outlet?

in the ps2 mag it says pro evo 5 on release from midnight on 21.10.05 so i assume thats very early friday morning??
