it will be great if there was some sort of sponser, like konami, for an official tournament. it will be cool for gamers to compete state wide to be put in a group like the world cup. then fight for the champion of usa title in WE/PES. man i wish that will happen one day.

I wish I could meet someone is Arizona that played this game well. I wanted to get my friend into, but he plays FIFA and think the WE series is horrid...I think that I might just capture a kid and teach him how to play... :)

well when I move to Orlando I will definetly challenge you to a tourny...
As for my friend and I play all the time but its really boring coause we know exactly how each other play....As for my other football hating friends they like American Fotball so that's a dead end.. I think there is about 3 WE7 people per state.

But there are negative aspects. The lag, if they don't have different places for dial-up users and broadband or whatever it's called people will hate playing it online. That was the problem with FIFA if I'm not mistaken. Online would be cool though. If they got enough features for it then they would have to put the game on one disc and the internet thing on teh other...

I'm reppin' Los Angeles here. I've managed to convert two of my boys to WE, getting them off of FIFA. Thank goodness. Konami should take this time between the release of PES and WE8:I to implement an online mode for the PS2, as well as fix the master league 4-leagues-only-leaving-tons-of-teams-out-of-ML problem. Oh, and don't forget the slowdown, but I'm sure that'll be fine by PES.
