Hi PES gamers (I m on PS3)
I discovered that Well Timed Sliding Tackle is the easiest possibly the most practical and effective defensive approach which can be applied for playing against Top teams, Weak teams, medium teams on nearly all parts of pitch. It works well and can help you concede less goals or hold on to a fine win or at least a draw according to different situations.(TP LV or SS LV) But sometimes it does NOT work because of bad luck or ...sth else...... like COM munipulative match fixing.
In or near Penalty box, Sliding tackle can win back ball possession or prevent 1on1, need to do it quick and time it without HESITATION.
In mid field, doing so can lead to straight counter attack chances.
In or near COM P box, doing so can give you second opportunity to have a shot on goal or reorganise attack or lay siege on COM opponent.
Done some offline matches to test it out, it works well, try it out guys, you are gonna like it.
Be careful while using this method, risk is red carded, so do it smart and clean.
For those PES experts, masters, you probably knew how to do it..like

Dont feel guilty for using sliding tackle as you might think..."thats dirty
play".... just forget about "sportsmanship and fairplay", COM does NOT
deserve that, and COM will be brutal and ruthless, so CHOP them DOWN,
before COM puts the ball in your net. Although COM can still sqeeze some
long rang shots into your net, BUT Using SLIDING TACKLE is better than doing nothing.
BTW, Sliding tackle once might not be enough, 2nd.. 3rd...even 4th time
continuously might give you a revelation of miracles, especially when you are 2 goals down, and only 10 mins left, do NOT waste too much time holding up COM as the time will tick away very quickly. Practise my "Sliding tackle feast" in Training match or EXHB mode using different teams.

Just want to add some of my thoughts and opinions about Online gaming.
IMO, if playing ONLINE, PES 2013 gamers should NOT apply SLIDING TACKLE FRENZY in all situations, or at least reduce the usage of it down to minimum. Because Offline COM is dumb and heartless, whilst real human players have emotions and self-dignity, plz give credit to that, do NOT use
Sliding tackle excessively as it could be nasty and disgusted by other Online
gamers who will bid farewell to PES online gaming eternally, maybe you d say "WHO CARES", thats fine by me. As for me bullying some PES rookies online could be as bad as COM abusing through balls over you(due to some points above, I rarely play online).
IMO, Online PES gamers should play with others with respect, spirit of Fairplay, Sportsmanship or at least with some of those qualities.
Simply put, if you(PES experieced gamer) won a game 4:0 with a 10 years old kid(just owned the game for 5 days) who probably is enraged or even in tears somewhere in the world is NOT fair and I could be sleepless because of that. You may say "oh... you worry too much", its fine by me too. Cause I am what I am.
Exceptions are if your Online opponents play dirty like "Through ball bombarment" onto your half, then feel free to Sliding tackle frenzy them and storm your through balls over to their half, fair enough, dont you think.
