^On PC, you can edit the texture files with Game graphics studio, so you can change the logos. But these kind of patches are usually included with big patches like the fire patch and pesedit patch.

Okay. It really looks awesome

Hey techboy - what settings do you use in Jenkey's tool?

It tends to fluctuate as I'm still tweaking. But I've settled on this, and for me it is near enough perfect!

Match & Graphic
Only replay I have is for goals
Disabled blur (obvious)
Match time - 17 mins
LOD - 50 (if I alter this my PC cannot handle it)

Gameplay Setting
Ball weight - Up one notch from default - my reasoning is that it eradicates the balloon effect that is clearer when I slow the game down. This adds the correct amount of weight in my eyes
Shot power - Currently on 35 (although I experimented with 40 for a bit)
Checked the following - curving shot, goalnet physic, new gameplay mode, removal AI cheating
Gameplay setting - 95

Replay data limit - 99

However I have also recently shifted from the default wide cam - my new camera is a variation on pitchside and enables me to see what I want, whilst maintaining that control element of not being too far away.

Height - 163
Zoom near side - 168
Zoom far side - 217
Camera angle - 128
Angle Mod - 63

I play with my PC attached to a 37" LCD tele....with all these factors thrown in, the settings work perfectly!

Thanks! Just like you I'm in constant search for the perfect PES-experience and I feel I'm getting there.

A few more questions though:
- Do you know what the "New Gameplay Mode" actually does to the game?
- Do you, likewise, know what the Gameplay Setting-slider does to the game?
- How do you alter the camera?

My interpretation is that the 'gameplay mode' may include the following - enhanced CPU AI, in terms of keeping the ball, passing it about more etc, more open game (frees up the CPU from the 9 men behind the ball), better passing/shooting physics, more realistic dribbling (the ball is normally attached to the foot by the laces lol the dribbling at least looks now like the ball is being dribbled), keepers are improved (and there are a few nice animations I'm sure, like the keeper hanging on the bar etc), I don't know if it's this or the goalnet physic thing but yesterday I saw something brilliant, there was a scramble near the front post and my man hit an Arsenal player into the side net and a little behind and he actually fell but held onto the net (pulling it) to regain his balance, never seen that before. The other day to one of the players went into the goals after just missing the ball and held the net with clench hands as if to say 'shit that was close', he then released the net and jogged back with the net waving.

Gameplay setting - I think this basically alters the speed of the game, it alters everything at once though, so everything will be relative ie the players will be slowed down, the ball will be slower in the air, turning will be slower, the game will start to feel more unresponsive as you slow everything down.

This is why it is a fine balance between everything, and this is why when slow the game down to 95 (which IMO is perfect speed, response, fluidity etc), you then also have to compensate with other settings, which is why I have the ball weight set +1 and shot power set higher.

What I've been trying to do is play as much and watch as much CPU games as possible.

I want the players to have the impression of running rather than skating, but I also want there to be enough zip in counter attacks. I feel with game speed at 100 everything is too arcadey, too zippy. By slowing it down to 95, I have a nice balance

I also set the passing assistance to 1 bar, so as to not have passes going round the place at 100mph.

It really is a fine balance because I suppose it depends what team you are and what league you are in too; I'm Liverpool so I have to get the games to look realistic when I play all the teams, Spurs for example and Chelsea are very fast teams because they have players with high response, high dribbling and running skills etc, so I believe you have to slow the game down a little bit because of this. Which is why I also switched from wide cam to my camera settings because even the camera choice can be deceptive as to the pace of the game.

It's a tricky balance but I believe I have nailed it; I have slower build up play, but countering isn't laboursome, I have the skilled plauers who should have dynamic turning like Suarez etc having it, but I also have Coates for example turning much slower (which is what I want). I have the perfect camera for aesthetics and the 'appearance' that things are slower a little as well, but I also have the ball weight and shot power brilliant and with pass assistance at 1 erase the ping pong element.

I would say I'm pretty much, for me anyway, fully there to having the game I want.

There's a camera tool on PES Patch, simply put it into the PES directory. You then have to open up the PES2012 file (specifying if it is cracked or not and what version), and then you have the camera values. Be careful make notes of the alterations in case you cock it up, and you also have to be careful you have selected the right option (eg version 1.01 not cracked, version 1.02 cracked) etc, accept your settings, then save them at the top.

Go into the game and check it out, the camera thing is really trial and error mind!
