Nah mate, the better you get the easier it is. I put 11 past Classic France on 6* on a 30-min match as Classic Brazil. I wasn't even aiming to get a high score.

Just keep practicing.

Once you get the hang of it, and you know the ways in which you will score and the ways in which you won't score, then you'll be notching up double figures.

SupJ, i think its just you...i had that moment before when i first got the game, but after i kept playing it, i get the hang of it and my best score is against Lazio on 6 stars winning 10-1 with my default player ml team.

when you get close to the keeper 1 on 1 press square then x to do a cancel shot this will take it away from the kepper allowing you to poke it in the net

I find it easier to chip the keeper - I score everytime I go for the chip.

Try shooting from outside the box. I prefer long screamers and the box tends to get crowded alot of the time. Unless your on the counter.

get wide and get some crosses in....double tap crosses from the bye line are really effective, as they tend to get in that danger area between keeper and defenders...

Nah its that this time u have to take into consideration alot more like

Player foot
Current direction
momentum
Player
Keeper

Once you master the game you'll learn how to score goals

Run straight a the keeper and at the last second tap R2 and left or right. 9 times out of 10 this will leave you with an open goal.

alternatively, play with very quick side midfielders and them through balls along the sideline and run them in behind the opponents side back.Run them right into the 6 yard box along the endline and then just pass it to your centre forward who should be unmarked in the centre with an open goal

What can I say, practise, practise and practise... that's the only thing that's going to help. You will learn to score. Try these strikers Henry, Eto'o, Ronaldo... they should learn you how to score.

I would have thought it was the opposite. If you always play with quality players you end up relying on their skills, so when you playas a lesser team (ML default for example) you will find it much harder.

If you start with poor teams and become good with their strikers, you will be awesome when you play with good strikers.

Best advice here, these all help.

The player has to be 'balanced' to get a good shot away. That means getting stikers in space, with time to line up the shot, or tempt the keeper out.

Try to hit the shots in the natural stride of the attacker's run, or first-time when running onto the ball. It makes a huge difference to the power.

I think some buttons affect shots if tapped or held just as the player strikes the shot. :R2: is one that's often mentioned. A few find :triangle: or :circle: give a bit of dip or more of a toe-poke (great ifyou hit it sweet, lame if you don't)

There are so many factors, everyone finds it slightly different and a bit unpredictable (unlike FIFA games), so some ways suit some players better than others.

I play on 3* on the XBOX, and I'm still having trouble scoring (I play with the United States), so don't feel too bad. ;)
