W.E.N.B. Option File PS3 Released! (BLES-20)

THE REASON PEOPLE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE OPTION FILE V3 IS ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

1. U ONLY DOWNLOADED V1, (W.E.N.B ORIGINAL FILE) THEN TRIED TO DOWNLOAD V3.
YOU NEED V2. BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD V3. (V2 is MArky's update)

2. U DO NOT COPY ALL FILES FROM THE SAVEDATA FILE TO THE HARD DRIVE (a rookie, but nonetheless a easy mistake to make).

3. U ARE COPYING THE 'EDIT DATA' FILE AND OVERWRITING A PRE EXISTING 'EDIT DATA' FILE.
U need to delete your edit data file before copying V3's one (this will also prevent trophies from being blocked)

If all the above is followed you should not hav a problem with the file. ALso if team emblems are still wrong/duplicated, just go into edit and RE-LOAD the edit data file, this normally solves these problems.

Finally as Rainey has said many times, this is not a complete VERSION, there are some minor errors within the Bundesliga as StringerBell has pointed out. These errors will be adressed in the final version (i'm guessing). If not, PM me and i will happily sort them out. The reason why Rainey didn't want to release this file incomplete was because of these minor errors in the Bundesliga.

Finally, a big Thanks should go to RAINEY! He has improved the game for everyone!

Not too fussed with the minor Bundesliga errors tbh. But please can someone tell me if there are fake player names still in V3? I have asked about 5 times now and I'd really like to know this one small thing.

all I did was delete the edit data from my usb everytime i downloaded a new version aint sure if its the quickest but it worked 4 me that way

Ok so I've only downloaded the official updates/data pack from Konami (so I have the proper Ireland kit).

Does this mean that I have to download all 3 option files in order to get everything to work?

If I download just version 3 what happens?

And didn't I have to download version 1 before any Konami updates meaning that I have missed the boat and cannot use this option file? Or?

Instructions:

DL V1 - copy it all over
DL v2 - copy it all over
DL v3 - copy it all over

UPDATE (7/10/10)

Due to issues regarding regions on the final PES discs, the OF that I've been working on for the past while will not work on BLES 20 or 22 versions. It will only work on BLES 21 versions.

UPDATE (8/10/10)

The UK OF (BLES 20) is currently being made by Adam on WENB and will hopefully be released in the next 2 days. It will not be as complex as the BLES 21 version.

It will contain kits and emblems for all EPL, La Liga and Serie A clubs as well as full kits for major International teams.

No transfers, squad formation changes etc will be changed due to the patch coming on the 12th.

I had the same problem, make sure you delete other edit files. The only edit file you need is the edit file from V3. There is only one or two files that you need to delete.

Raff77, the above link for V3 worked for me about an hour ago so keep trying that one, i have updated no problems, stadiums look great too, thanks rain man , you are the daddy.

V3 is not a full option file, its simply an update that only has additional save files on it

I have been keeping mine updated with each new release

For anyone still having problems i will try and explain the method i took as simple as possible

V1 released, simply copied all save files onto ps3, deleted old edit data file, and copied over the new V1 edit data file

V2 released, simply copied over the new additional save files onto ps3, deleted old v1 edit data file, then copied over the new V2 edit data file

V3 released, again copied over the new additional save files onto ps3, deleted old v2 edit data file, then copied over the new V3 edit data file

Job done

Not sure if this helps but will post as a reference guide for you, and for the record there has been 2 updates from konami since V1 option file was released, the 2nd update gave you the offical Ireland kit

V1 - UNIFORMS 001 - 081 (PLUS LEAGUE EMBLEMS ETC..)

(then came 1st konami update)

V2 - UNIFORMS 082 - 156 (INTERNATIONAL KITS UPDATE)

(then came 2nd konami update with Ireland kit updated)

V3 - UNIFORMS 157 - 203 (BUNDASLEAGUE + STADIUM DATA)

How many updates have you had from konami?

i have had 2 updates from them, try loading up pes and go to the updates section, make sure you only have wenb V2 working, do the official update then put all V3 data back onto your ps3 with the v3 edit data file, should fix it i hope

in simple terms, revert back to V2 if you can

then load pes 2011, do the official konami update and check the ireland kit has been updated as that was the most recent konami update

once official konami update is done, turn off pes 2011, go back to ps3 savedata and then copy over everything on V3 onto ps3, then delete old V2 edit data file, then copy new v3 option file

Cheers mate - i only had the first Konami official update, i didnt realise there was a 2nd one available - i will download Konami's 2nd one now, (having successfully worked WENB's Option file 1 and 2) and then once i've downloaded Konami's 2nd update, i will copy across WENB's option file 3.

If WENB's option file 3 only works once Konami's 2nd update has been downloaded, then this will explain why WENB's option file 3 hasnt worked for me.

I'm going on the assumption that WENB's option file 3 was created to be compatible with Konami's 2nd update - if that's the case, then it makes sense that it wouldnt be working for me. Just hope that is indeed the case!
