WE 8: too fast ????

what do you think? is the gameplay really too fast?? i mean, the game is great but sometimes i just notice that it´s way too fast and gets a bit unrealistic.

i remember that there were patches for pes 2, where the player stats were tweaked, e.g. all players speed down by 20 etc.... and it really worked. the game got much more realistic and controllable. do you think there will be such an option file for we 8 / pes 4??? i cant remember there was one for pes 3....

or do you think the game is better with that a-bit-faster-than-real-life pace??

Yeah WE8 is slow, which is good don`t get me wrong. Sometimes it even gets too slow, and sometimes for all you slow gameplay freaks well you get that slowdown which brings slower gameplay.

WE8 is like a real life football. It can get fast, slow, too slow and very fast depending on your play.

To me PES series are always a bit faster than WE ones. I remember when PES3 was released oh man people were screaming about the speed.

the question is will the X-Box version of PES4 be the same speed as WE8, which is the ideal speed, and not the shitty PES3 speed???

hmmm so you think the game isnt too fast...??? but what about those hammer passes??? have you played with that option file for pes2 i wrote about??? the game really seemed much more strategic and realistic too me.... but well just a matter of taste i guess...

yeah one flaw I feel is the passing...in terms of you cant tell the difference between a playmaker/passing star player and one with 70's for passing stats...it seems like anyone can rip a pass like Zidane...but in regards to speed and dribbling WE8 really does show the individuality of star players from average ones

but in terms of game speed WE8 is just right I just hope Konami Europe doesnt ruin PES4 by upping the speed just like PES3

game is slower than pes, first time ive played we8 but its growing on me, pes compared to we8 feels arcardy not too much tho... players are bit too slow on we8 for me tho, when you attacking defenders seem to catch up quicker and when you defending you seem to catch the attacking team too quickly.

Played pes4 at gamestars live event in London, game speed was slower than that of we8.

I find WE8 to be very slow compared to PES3. I'm not talking about the speed of passes etc I mean the responsivness of the controls. It just all feels a little sluggish. And as for the shooting and the slowdown on crosses! Christ, that better be gone come 22nd October. I liked the 'power bar' sensitivity in PES3/WE7I when shooting. It was perfect, but the japs seem to like to be able to hold down the button a bit longer?!
