Plz check if all latest transfers are included in your patched version (the one using over.afs file).I want to know that..

Well I know Davids was still on Juve so I don't think they were updated. Were they updated for you?

Yes mine is updated.Davids at barcelona,Saha at ManU etc..All clubs have their latest transfers!Maybe its because i used OVER2.afs.Its great.There is only this small problem i mentioned be4.Quality patch!

has anyone been able to get this patch to work on a cd using a slide card?

i've had trouble, and wanted to know if the 763 MB was too big an image file.

OK. I have edited the option file. Due to the X-Port filenames being a bit weird with WE7:IJ, I hope this is the correct file that I'm posting. It should be jb's option file with a few changes:

1. All kits default (as they were).
2. All kit badges turned off.
3. All kit names and numbers in better colours+positions - It's not 1000% accurate but it looks much nicer than default. Almost all the numbers are set to font type 2 (which was type 3 in WE7) as I think it looks the best, apart from Madrid and Anderlecht which are type 3.
4. Beckham has grown some hair.
5. A couple of squad changes for England and France.

I imported over.afs into original over.afs file and then imported over2.afs into the same file.So no renaming,just import the file you want( over.afs or over2.afs).Have a try!

Import the one you want, both are explained in the first post, I don´t know if you have to rename the over2.afs or not, I assume that it will work without renaming

is the solidus patch dun properly this time so united wount have to be parma. does the overafs2 need renaming and does it have uptodate transfers and english names.

I am actually doing what you did because I was being lazy :) and am importing over2.asf on top of over.afs so I am assuming I will have the same issue you had but I can live with that :)

I figured it out!!The misake i was doing was to load an old option file and as a result the teams were messed up.So all teams are correct if not using an old option file.Just create a new one.Good luck and enjoy the game! :D

Ok cool. That makes sense. I had created a new option file already. I might need to create a new one again I suppose but I am going to try it without it since all this should do is give me the transfers. If not I will create another new one.

Were the kits defaulted for you? or did you have to make them all default because using just the over.afs I had to make them default. Thanks.

Yes all the kits were defaulted( importing always OVER2.afs file).Otherwise i would have been lazy too to change them manually! ;)

wrong thread without a doubt, but.. will my option file work with a new patch?

I've never patched a game and was wondering if my current ML will reflect all the kits and all other changes.. and if all of my abilities editing and roster changes will remain the same and/or work *with* any roster/abilities editing that the patch introduces

man I really need to get my ps2 chipped

Any WE7:IJ option file should work with this patch.
You just have to make all the kits set to default if using patched kits.
Or get one where it's done.
Other than that, the option file overrides the other data I think.

I see.. I wonder why the ripped game wouldn't already be set to use the corrected kits?
