In addition to the release of WE7 Int in Korea on Dec 4th, Konami is planning on yet another release of WE7 Int in JAPAN, on the 19th of Feb 2004. There are words that some enhancements will be made into Jap WE7 Int, while Korean WE7 Int (as introduced by ClassicD in the prior article) is basically PES3/WE7 repackaged for the Korean market. This, effectively, breaks Konami's pledge not to release WE7 FE (Final Evolution) and head straight to WE8.

Some of the enhancements will be:

- DVD-ROM based (first in Jap WE series)

- UIs and commentaries in 6 languages (Jap, Eng, Ita, Fra, Spa, Ger)

- Additional in-game motions, including special moves in kicking

- Numbers of demo animations (possibly in tutorial mode) increased, resulting in enhanced reality

- Officially licensed Juventus and Feyenoord kits and rosters (which weren't available in Jap WE7 before)

- Rosters and kits updated for 2003/04 season

- New Japanese national team kits and roster (a total of 45 players, all-time record in WE series)

- Personal records for the last 3 games can be retrieved (in master league and league mode)

- Club names, call names and player names can be transfered using memory card (not certain what that means... don't we have that already?)

- Goalie kits and stadia names are editable (!!!)

The price will be, as usual, set at 6,980 Yen

Good info bro. I`m in the USA as you can see in my Location bar - and I was informed that WE7:I will be released here on Feb 1st, 2004 ?? I guess they changed the release date. I own WE7 (Japanese version) and PES3. In PES3 Juventus FC and Feyenoord are licensed as well. I like to hear that you`ll be able to edit stadiums names..makes me wonder why didn`t they do that in PES3 ?.. keep us updated with that stuff.

So is anyone buying this WE7 : International version..? I`m sure most of you already have WE7 and PES3, PES3 can`t get really any better in one point it`s even better than WE7 it plays smooth it looks more realistic. So what kind of WE7:I - United States will get.. by the way.. the cover completely sucks..

Considering Korea is the target audience, that cover would be appealing to them.

Winning Eleven 7 features Multitap support as well as broadband support to update player stats. Animations have been improved (for example you can see each player's hair moving in accordance to his movement). The CPU has been improved and players act more intelligent. Winning Eleven is probably the currently most famous soccer game available.

Internet speed is a problem for some people
At least , you must have 1MB/S ADSL or LAN
56KB/S Modem can`t
