WE8LE 6 Stars Too Easy???

Basically I'd just like to know how many of you would prefer to be able to play the game at a harder level. It's alway's the same for me, when I get the new version I find it hard for the first couple of days. Then once I've played about 15 - 20 matches I learn the methods to score against the cpu. It's not because I alway's pick the best teams either cos I play alot with the weaker teams. But the only time I really have a good challenge is when I play another person. Because most of the time other people are unpredictable. Suppose in an ideal world you would have a AI cpu that learns your style of play and adjusts to make it more difficult for you. Although I do feel WE8LE is the hardest version yet, I would like a harder level setting. Where the cpu AI is really clever and the keepers are top class etc. So you really have a challenge and it takes you more than 15 - 20 games to master. I'm not the master at beating other people though lol, it's just the cpu is so easy to figure out at the moment I think. What do you guy's think?

I'm guessing you play on 15min or more. The cpu is dam ez on 15min. Their defense always give you so much space and time.

On 10min it's great, cpu defense is much more lively. You also have much less time and opportunities to attack. If 10min too ez then play 5min. 10min feels just perfect for me.

Yea they need to make it harder, i find myself a couple of goals up within the first half. Make them use more sliding tackles and just be more physical, mmm

No I only ever play on 10mins as your right 15mins is even easier. It's just that the cpu never learns how to defend against my formation. Like for example I've never noticed the cpu use man markers and such. I'm not trying to sound bigheaded cos when I play real people I lose all the time lol. It's just the cpu never learns.

I play we8I but difficulty shouldn't be too drastic. 6 stars seems same or even easier than 5 stars
so I stick to 5 stars and 10min and I don't play ML (only 26 games per league season turns me off). we8 has full 38 match leagues and i'm loving it. very competitive in serie a with teams like inter, milan, juve, and roma all very strong. some seasons i can lose 5 matches with juve. right now, i'm 25-7-1 with only 11 goals against using juve and i still trail inter (28-3-2) and milan (28-4-1) and they both average almost 3 goals per game compared to my 2 per game :angry:
so all in all, won't lose much but it's still hard to finish top. i'm happy with difficulty in we8i.

premiership very competitive too as well as spanish league.

next season i play ac milan 1st. I'm gonna break shevchenko's and kaka's legs in 2! those stinkin sobs =P
freakin shevchenko finished with 35 goals in 38 matches. dam! my trezeguet got 28 -___-
since when was 28 not good enuff for 1st >_<

I like playing the master league though so I can train up the young stars. It still should be very competitive cos I use the default players (castolo,espina etc.) and I put all the best teams in the 2 divisions to make up like a european superleague. So I shouldn't really be able to beat the best teams in europe with the players I have and I should concede way more than I do. Personally I find 5* easier but the AI seems to cheat a bit more than on 6* lol. I would just like the cpu to asess your formation and use man markers where necessary and stuff like that to make it more difficult.

i play 10min 6* and find its too easy - computer defense has to be alot tighter, the top wingers need to be able to beat their man 1on1 more and i'd like to see more long shots from the CMFS too. that would make matches far more interesting.

I don't know what you guys are talking about but its friggin difficult. Maybe its because i only played a couple of games? Well i haven't really played with a big team yet. First thing i done was play ML as Palermo in 2nd division and thats about it. I found it way harder to score, specially the fucking headers! Is it me or is it my players i have no idea. I used to find much more space for headers on WE8. Now its way harder. I managed to finish the league as a leader and win the cup too, and got the top scorer, Toni, but only 9 goals in 14 games... It does feel more competitive for me, but according to what you guys are saying, you make it sound like its too easy. I play on 5 stars by the way because i find 6 stars unrealistic.

6* is too easy. 5* is hard. I googled it and many players from different forums felt the same way. When I first bought we8i 1st thing I wanted to do was unlock 6 stars. After that, on the 3rd match of 6 stars I smoked Chelsea 6-0 with Man U. I never had such an ez win against Chelsea on 5* so that was the end of 6* for me. Went back to 5* and having trouble winning leagues.

That's y I feel something is up with 6*. Y do you have to unlock it in the 1st place =P
so there's prolly a bug with 6*

maybe you just think that way, cause you actually try harder when you play V 6*?. I doubt Konami would make such a massive mistake.

nah. infact i eased up a bit on 6* and they were still ez. i went back to 5* and everything was fine again. also i'm not the only one who feels this way, on this forum or on other forums.

ok just had a couple matches in my seasons vs milan and real betis. here's what i found:
-they're faster than on 5* but there were no shots from midfield. 5* shoots from midfield like crazy
-they like to constantly and mindlessly pull stupid stuff and just run straight into u and lose possession
-they pass back and forth too quickly for their own good and just end up give you the ball all too often
-their defense horrible at intercepting passes. milan gave away far too many 1v1 chances than usual

when things go right for them they're quick and efficient with their attacks but things don't go right too often. back to 5* for me.
