I seen a few copies on eBay.

Personally, I don't want to take a chance of modding. I have lost about 10 good members in my league who have got caught and lost their accounts.

From what I have been told, we are getting the exact same rosters as PES5...no updates.

No, you could use a real patch and forget about that optionfile stuff. You can even use the LOD mixer on the xbox version so you always have a crowd and good visuals. I would say mod your xbox as a modded xbox is great. They can be a "media center PC", they can also run emulators for things like PSX, N64, SNES, Genesis, NES, Atari, C64, M$DOS, etc.

thanks, i've been thinking about it for a while. I would like to know what chip you have (I take it you do have a mod chip for xbox). And it would obviously be useful for other games and media like you said. I'm still trying to locate a good place to order PES5 to the US.

I use a spiderchip modchip, well I did use a spidercip now my xbox is softmodded. They (spiderchip) are a pile of shit don't buy one. I would suggest visiting www.xbox-scene.com for all your xbox modding needs. There you can read comparisons of modchips and learn how to run homebrew on your xbox, etc.

WE9:i is an exact copy of PES 5, so if there were no changes between the PES 5 demo and the final release of PES 5, then yeah, WE9:i is just like the PES 5 demo.

I think the demo felt just a little different than the real game. Im not sure what it was. Maybe its just me.

Yeah i just checked bestbuy.com and now it says 2/10/06 for the ps2 version and it still says 3/03/06 for the xbox version, hopefully fry's electronics will stick to the original release date.

Well from 2/7 - 2/9 isn't so bad. I still think it will get pushed back again. If I keep thinking that I won't be so disappointed like the last two years.

Assume the worst, hope for the best.

To be honest as long as its coming out i'll be happy. I just patched my copy of we8i about a month ago and having the real kits and ads in the stadiums made it like a whole new game for me. I'm anticipating we9, but I also want patches and and great optionfiles with all the kits.... i will wait patiently.
