WE9 really slow??

Hey, I have successfully followed patching guide and applied fernandos patch. the problem is when the game starts its all jump and slow and annoying! I burned the iso at 1x and 2x and its still the same

any help appreciated?

Did you have any programs running while you were ripping or burning?
Make sure you close all other programs when doing these two processes. As mentioned in the patching guide, it is good to reset the pc before you begin burning to make sure nothing else is running.

Try it again like I've said and the game should be fine.

I've also found that if you burn in to a disc at a slower speed, say 2x for instance on a 4x or 8x DVD, that it also slows the game down.

Right, i restarted the pc and burned without any programs open at 1x ona 4x DVD-R and it seems to work fine, cheers for the info.

this thread can be closed if need be?

i do agree with this, i have to types of DVD-R and one set of a lower x work better than say my 8x
