I decided to create teams that would make my ML work better and wanted to post the file up to share in case anyone was looking for the same!
All in all I have created more than 650 players, adjusted over 130 fake players to make real ones and created well over 200 kits, at time of posting this has taken 218 editing hours, including the time taken to create as far as I got with V1 but, not including anytime I’ve spent in Edit Mode and then saved and switched off without exiting!
General Editing:
Hundreads of boots and accessories issued/updated
Unlicensed Leagues & Cups given real names
Unlicensed Stadiums given real names
All missing in-game transfers completed
Loads and Loads of shirt names changed/updated using my knowledge of world football and JackWhoBRA’s shirt name thread
Lots of “NIG” young players created to be available in ML using retired classics
One Create Player slot left open for you to import yourself from BAL, if like me you play BAL until you start ML and import yourself with the stats you earned.
National Teams:
Kits & Templates for World Cup 2010 qualifiers, including, Egypt instead of Algeria and Bahrain instead of New Zealand, plus Russia & Wales
Some kit formulas have been created for other NTs but these have no templates
All duplicate players replaced and moved to FREE AGENT
Premier League:
All unlicensed teams have correct kits, Emblems & Names
La Liga:
All unlicensed teams have correct kits, Emblems & Names
Other Leagues A:
Fake teams used to create the 9 missing Champions League Teams (these will be available for random CPU selection in Euro competitions in Master League)
Hamburg and Werder Bremen created in place of WE United and PES United
Some fake players used to create real players (depending on nationality) for the created teams
All other fake players used to create real players using nationality, position and age, these have been moved to FREE AGENT note: appearances may not be 100%
Other Leagues B:
3 Bundesliga Teams:- Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund & Schalke 04 (even if you don’t put these teams in ML their players will still be available for transfer)
2 SPL Teams:- Dundee United* and Hibernian*
12 Coca-Cola Championship Teams:- Bristol City*, Blackpool*, Cardiff City*, Leicester City*, Middlesbrough*, Newcastle Utd*, Nottingham Forest*, Queens Park Rangers*, Reading*, Sheffield United*, Swansea City* & West Bromich Albion*
2009 Club World Cup Finalists:- Estudiantes de la Plata (even if you don’t put this team in ML the players will still be available for transfer)
*These teams have between 25 and 32 players, I have tried to include youth players for ML. If these teams are not in your ML the whole squad will not appear for transfer. Players transferred to these teams in Januaray and left in-game by Konami have been registered with the right clubs, if future DLC removes these players they will nedd to be created! Some of these players still need appearances
Classic Teams:
All players renamed correctly
All players stats reduced to “1” across the board, this is to make them less attractive for the CPU to sign in ML. (I hate coming up against a Gascoigne or Maradona when I shouldn’t!)
Classic Players:
All currently playing “Classic Players” renamed correctly
Some retired classic players used to create current players for my created teams, depending on nationality
All other retired classic players used to create future stars as found in World Soccer Magazine – Talent Scout
Extras:
A folder with Club Emblems for all of the unlicensed teams in my OF (this way you can import the ones you want when you want them)
Formation Save Files for all of the created teams in Other Leagues A & B (Konami’s updates reset these so this should make it easier to arrange your teams after installing future DLC)
