Weird - PES 3 just quit to desktop with no error or anything

Strange. Never had this before...

I was losing one nil to Auxerre so it wasnt that bad but i did want to come back into the game and try score...

mmmm that does sound extremely weird. there are a lot of strange occurancies with the game crashing out to the desktop.... have u checked what is running in the background and closed tasks not required?

No i have a feeling it could be something tiny in the background conflicting with it...If it does it again, ill just do that. Cheers. Weird though eh?

Im thinking of setting up a PES3 PC knowledge base for our forum so we can log all these problems in them and put any fixes that work against them... who agrees with that?

only issues i've had with PES have been edited EXE issues and video card driver issues.

this crash coulda just been a one time occurance, if it happens again, let us know.

when all my other gmes do not restart my computer and only PES does at random times after a match....I blame PES.

i had a similar problem, but no other games were acting up...ended up being driver issues.

I'm not sure. I have an ATI 9500 Pro Radeon 128MB so maybe the catalyst 3.10 is the culprit I'm not sure. It restarts after a match is over. It's happened a few times and does it randomly, after a match I play. Sometimes I can get a good match in or 3-5 of them then after a match it would matcha a screech noise then restart.

i narrowed my issue down to this

computer has been used all day by other people and they still may be logged in (winxp)
using catalyst 3.9
game would crash after the second game i'd play was finished.

i updated the drivers and the issue hasnt been back yet.

might wanna play with the video drivers. are your sound drivers updated? those trip people up sometimes too

hmm, that could be it ctrlaltdel, there were the original drivers off the cd so their probably are too old.
