What do the green, yellow and red lights mean on the display when playing online mode

hello all,

Just wondering what the flickering green, yellow and red lights mean when playing online on the PS3. I'm guessing that red means a bad connection? I've only ever played someone with a green light twice.

Are certain servers better than others or is it all down to the person your playing?

good guess, connection status... all servers and lobbys are the same, so its all down to the person you are playing, the closer you live the better it is (depends on broadband obviously as well)
