What happend to side step in PES6

I am sure if its called "side step", but in earlier versions of the game, when you had the possession of the ball, you could hold R2 and move left or right and the player would move side wise.

Has this been removed?

Nope you can still do it i find it doesnt work quite as well tho

try holding r2 for a few seconds, it makes the player go into a slow dribble and then try doing the side step normally works for me.

yeah it's there but its been nerfed or made more 'realistic'.
