What happened?

Yes, its strange though. I have played almost a full season on Top player, full manual. There was games when the AI played some good different attacks and scored some different goals. Then theres been games with the low corner shot goals, you can feel it coming. One of your defenders gets pulled out of position and then you are selected controll of the wrong defender and Bang before you know it its another low corner shot, keeper helpless. I think i am going to have to try and sit back and defend a bit more, especialy when you get that feeling the AI is upping its game.
Great PES appart from this, most fun ive had since pes6.

PES 5 is my favourite of the series, but I hated it at first, until I learnt how to defend and tackle without it resulting in a card! PES 2016 would be a great game if the CPU scoring was more varied; they sorted out the refereeing, and reduced the scripting somewhat. I've read postings where other people say the goals are actually varied in the latest version of PES, I just didn't see that, despite also trying the game with no data packs/updates as well.

I swear the CPU kept scoring those low shots, and I think two headers, that was it. Weird!

How do you guys feel about the gameplay since the last update, better or worse? I find the physics are more realistic and smoother plus superstar is now a bit harder which is good but the speed now on -1 is too fast almost so now have to cut 15min games down a minute or two as I play full manual. Im on ps4
