What happens when you delete images?

So I've been trying to add a Liga MX, MLS and a couple Colombian teams to my OF. However my edit mode is notifying me that I have to delete some images before I can import anymore kits for Liga MX.

Now my question is, if I was delete other image files from other edited/completed leagues such as skyBet or Bundesliga, would they're kits that I've imported disappear from the game? Or does would they remain, just the image files themselves get deleted?

This my first time editing a PES game, since PES6, so bear with me.

They would disappear mate. If you want to add more kits it is best to have them all in 1024x1024

So, should I replace my existing 2080x2080 kitswith 1024x1024 versions? Or just the new ones I'm trying to upload?

This is a bit confusing, do you know the storage/upload specs and details that Konami have put in place so I can clearly understand how everything works?

If you want to have every team with kits then it is best to make them all 1024x1024 with just a few of your favourite teams in 2048x2048
