What is your impressions about the new PES 2012 GAMEPLAY ?

I actually like the shooting but I see your point, it can be a bit random at times but I think this is down to the fact it relies on many different factors. I heard we now have more control over power which is a good thing, I think there needs to be more variation in shot trajectory and I dont think shooting makes enough use of the sensitivities of the analog.

I really do like the current system though, it somewhat replicates the instinctive nature of striking the ball, I like the fact you have to adjust the power depending on situation.

Happy so far, I just hope players are not too responsive due to all the bitching from the forums I have concerns konami might dumb down the effect of weight and momentum to appease the players coming back from fifa.

The same goes for first touch, I dont want the game to get to fifa levels where every player has the same first touch but I can't judge until I play the game.

I'm just concerned konami have dummed down aspects of the game but so far things are looking good. The playtests from evo web(my most trusted pes site) sound promising.

@ SDP, I see your point. But about the response, it was too slow for pes 11, especially when dribbling. Fast players were a bit useless because of the slow response thing. So b upping the response, the attack is not the only thing that will get better, BUT ALSO THE DEFENCE. There were times in pes 11 where because of slow response, the AI player dribbled past me with ease. So I think it would actually make it more balanced by upping the response.

And the first touch, I agree, NOT LIKE FIFA at all. However some players' first touch was a bit too bad in pes 11. But, I see your point that they need to keep it balanced so that there's a difference in the players.

I definitely think response times needs to be improved just not to much, in pes 2011 any player with response below 75 can be a bit useless to be honest so yeh there is much room for improvement.

I think we are on the same page regarding first touch, it can be buggy especially when the ball bounces of your player like he is made of concrete but the depth is certainly there just needs some polishing up.

on the first ibra gola there is a big AI flaw in my opinion. RM defender gives up on the play instead of trying to tackle Ibra after he passed through the goalie.

not impressed by the videos at all.
the improvements will help the game a lot.
the animations really hurt my eye, and yes i know that its not the most important part but it does take away the feeling of realism which PES was always known for.
still its better to have a solid gameplay then a game with fantastic animation which gameplay sucks so bring on the demo lets feel if it will be worth it.

Ali is right, you can only really, I mean REALLY tell if it plays right when you've experienced the gameplay first-hand.

I'm still looking forward to playing the demo, but I'll 100% be getting Fifa especially for online and might get PES for Master League which is my favourite feature of the game by miles.
